POLL: SHOULD TONY BLAIR STAND TRIAL FOR WAR CRIMES?
Ex Labour and British Prime Minister Tony Blair stands accused of War Crimes pertaining to Britain’s role in the Iraq war where it is estimated by some highly dependable observers that more than 1,000,000 people died and a further 4.000,000 were displaced or injured and their homes destroyed, the majority of them being civilians. Tony Blair sickeningly calls the atrocities committed in the Iraq war against mostly women and children “collateral damage”, a poplar term now used by his replacement, Tory PM David Cameron, to describe his own war crimes in Libya. The Chilcot inquiry’s publication is continually kicked into the long grass in the hopes that the public s wrath will dissipate over time and the crimes forgotten about.
In November 2011 the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal purportedly exercised universal jurisdiction to try in absentia former US President George W. Bush and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, convicting both for crimes against peace because of what the tribunal concluded was the unlawful invasion of Iraq.
So what do you think, should Tony Blair face trial in the Hague for war crimes?

If you don’t, who will?
Crystal clear he is war criminal, who benifitted from Iraq’s war. Undoubtedly.
If he’s to ever stand trial, so should Bush, Cheney and the lot of them. But, I don’t think that’ll ever happen, because the powers-that-be will never allow that to happen.
He is a war criminal. No doubt about it. And he should pay the price.
Of course he should be charged with war crimesn
And yet no-one considers the consequences if everyone had just stayed out of it and let the other side win. Sadly most people in this country seem to think we are somehow safe from what is going on elsewhere.
What other side? There was no conflict between Iraq and the west until we were dragged into it by the bush/Blair deception.
He should have been on trial years ago along with Obama. David Cameron should also go on trial for Treason for wanting to give his country away for his own personal greed.
The world should be shown how we deal with war criminals,
Blair is a proven war criminal,He is brought on to our Telyvision
screens as if he decent person,it is an insult to the public.
It’s Labour who will keep Labour out of power by keep repeating Tory propaganda by keep going on about Iraq, while forgetting that the Tories had already committed us to being the 2nd largest force in the region, which is why more Tory MPs voted yes to the 2nd war against Iraq than other parties. Even so called Labour voters go on about Iraq, and forget all the great things Labour did after the after Conservative years, such as helping to repair all the destroyed communities by the Tories, to help more people than ever go to university. This has nothing to do with political parties or the media. The fact is that this man lied to the people he was supposed to be serving about WMDs being present in Iraq when there were none and ignored half of the people he was supposed to be serving by taking us into a war we didn’t want or need! He made a sham out of democracy and has made the world a much more unsafe place. Your comments about murdoch, his wife, labour, conservative are irrelevant, please try to stay on topic.
Tony Blair shouId face the law as other African heads. The killing of Iraqis cannot be in vain.
“Waging an aggressive war on a civilian population”. That is what the Nazis were charged with at Nuremberg. He is most certainly guilty of that and more besides. Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld and Jack Straw should join him in the dock at the very least.
