MS. CLINTON: STOP RUSSIAN ‘BEAR HUNTING’

It is now September 2016, just two months before the Presidential elections, and both political camps already managed to disgust great numbers of the US voters, by offering almost no comprehensive political or economic program, by offering… close to nothing!

SIMPLE LOGIC CONDEMNS HER As the images below demonstrate, tireless warmonger Hillary Clinton in 2012  obviously did not think that Vladimir Putin was the devil incarnate, as she so opportunistically proclaims these days, nor that he was a “Hitler” (another grotesquely absurd insult), or else she would not have been so cordial. So why the about face? Her actions defy elementary consistency, all of it pointing to a huge flaw in this aspirant to the imperial throne. For if Putin is indeed the devil and Hillary did not know that in 2012, then she’s an idiot, an ignoramus, and a person unfit to occupy the State Department’s top job, or the US presidency. But if Putin is not the devil—and a new “Hitler”—which despite all the Western noise and propaganda he certainly is not—then Hillary is guilty of gross hypocrisy and political opportunism. She can’t have it both ways; truth and logic condemn her.

While Donald Trump is lashing at the ‘enemy within’, during his dark moments that are increasingly resembling an advanced stage of delirium tremens (complete with a mad chase after white mice, and promises to cleanse society from some imaginary filthy rapists and social benefits guzzlers, that are constantly pouring from the south), Ms. Clinton is saddling her horse, and preparing the West for yet another crusade against Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, left, meets U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton on her arrival at the APEC summit in Vladivostok, Russia, Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012. (AP Photo/Mikhail Metzel,Pool)More exposed become Ms. Clinton’s colorful corruption scandals (mainly those that are pegged to her and her husband’s Clinton Foundation), more obvious it gets that the Democratic Primaries were shamelessly forged, and more empty become the words and promises she keeps regurgitating at the citizens of the country that she is aspiring to lead, more aggressive are getting her attacks against that big creature who lives far-far away, somewhere behind the horizon: the Russian Bear!

Ms. Clinton’s campaign is literally degenerating into the crude anti-Russian propaganda. It is hard not to recall the original, iconic 1962 Cold War conspiracy thriller movie The Manchurian Candidate full of those “Dirty commie tricks”. Like in Senator McCarty’s era (1947-57), Ms. Clinton’s aides and supporters are spreading irrational fears and ludicrous paranoia. Listen to them, and you’d soon get convinced that something ‘evil’, ‘monstrous’ and ‘thoroughly unacceptable’ is crawling out from Russian ‘beast’ on the daily basis.

The images are often Chagall-esque, with Russian spies and hackers flying magically on some huge fairy-tale beds or carpets, levitating right above all major American cities.

(AP Photo/Mikhail Metzel,Pool)Russian cartoons and animated films are brainwashing American children (therefore they should be banned), Russian television and radio stations are spreading vitriolic anti-Western propaganda, and therefore should be censored.

Russia and its President were first presented by the Western ideologues as a continuation of ‘that evil and Communist Soviet Union’. When that hype clearly failed to work (most of the people all over the world are actually increasingly sympathetic towards the socialist, even Communist ideals), the ‘strategy’ changed, got turned up side down, and Russians were suddenly accused of supporting ‘extreme right-wing movements and politicians’, including the US Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump.

In countless propaganda fables, President Putin is depicted in the darkest colors imaginable. He is a strongman who is threatening Ukraine, the West and the rest of the world. His ‘apparatus’ is successfully infiltrating the US establishment, and derailing ‘democratic’ elections.  Whatever Russia does (or doesn’t do), it is being smeared almost immediately by the ‘liberal’ pro-Clinton mass media, which is behaving in increasingly servile and disciplined manner.

INVERSION OF TRUTH Perversely mendacious cartoons pollute the Western media daily.
GRAND INVERSION OF TRUTH Perversely mendacious cartoons pollute the Western media daily. This one assures the public that it was Russia—and Putin— that started the second Cold War, a huge lie truly worthy of Orwell, considering the long and amply documented record of US/NATO warmongering around the globe. Russia’s continued attempts to put out wars and use diplomacy are simply ignored.  Many of these cartoonists, pundits, editors, and media figures spreading this filth are in the pay of the empire, but many others are simply victims of the same brainwash they cluelessly create and distribute. A truly vicious circle.

It is all clearly resembling those dark, distant days of the ‘Grand Communicator’ Ronald Reagan, with some additional à la Barry Goldwater seasoning.

The Russian government and almost all Russian media outlets are trying to stay calm. They are trying to argue in a rational manner. They are coming up with countless initiatives in order to defuse the tension. But good will coming from Moscow (or Beijing) only further inflames Western propagandists.

It is becoming clear that Ms. Clinton, her team of indoctrinators, as well as her legion of media hacks, are trying to do something that is not only appalling and idiotic, but also extremely dangerous and imprudent – they are sticking a long iron rod with a sharp end into the hole inhabited by an enormous, peacefully hibernating bear!

*

Nothing good can come out of such scenario.

When provoked and threatened, when awoken from deep winter sleep, a bear reacts in a predictably angry and fully justifiable manner: it dashes out from his hiding place, outraged and ready to defend itself.

Whoever terrorizes the creature – be it some stupid stars and stripes covered donkey or elephant – he or she can expect a bloody and fierce fight.

Patience has its limits. There is no reason why one country or one group of aggressive, thuggish countries (predominantly the United States and its European allies, plus Japan) should be treated differently, with greater tolerance, then the rest of the world. For more than 500 years the world had been burning, suffering from continuous and brutal onslaughts coming from the West. It bears repeating: coming from the West. Not the East. Hundreds of millions of innocent people had been destroyed, murdered.

Russia, like Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America and the South Pacific, have been attacked, again and again, with horrifying regularity, and for no logical reason —except the lust for power and greed—reduced to ashes.

Not surprisingly, most Russian people that I recently spoke to (be it in the West, in Moscow or St. Petersburg, or in the East, in Vladivostok, Khabarovsk or Petropavlovsk in Kamchatka) do not find the situation at all amusing, as no one is finding it amusing in China, which is another historic victim of Western colonialist terror and bullying. Both great, enormous nations are now being targeted by the propaganda and the military provocations coming officially from NATO, but issuing mainly from Washington and Tokyo.

*

The records shows that both North America and Europe (and Japan) have plenty of shit to clean up at home! While optimism and great progress is clearly visible in Chinese and Russian cities and countryside, there is hardly any joy detectable inside the Empire. In the US, Germany, France and Japan, people appear to be depressed, confused, even resigned. Deep sarcasm and nihilism are everywhere. Symptoms of social anomie and degeneracy everywhere. Despite long centuries of plundering the world, the West is deteriorating; its political and economical system, based on selfishness, its hypocritical ‘democracy model’, are all collapsing.

Ms. Clinton (and her husband) should actually roll up their sleeves, immediately! They should grab the shovel and broom, and begin cleaning the house. Then they should get rid of their security dudes and do what all great Chinese and Russian emperors and tsars used to do – go humbly and undercover to the streets of their cities, and listen to their people! And then: to serve them, the people, instead of assisting the greedy traders and (to borrow the words of a great Czech poet František Halas) those “pigs of the markets”! Actually, let me take that advice back: the Clintons, along with the rest of the US professional political class, know darn well what the ordinary people need. They just have no intention of dong anything about it, except betraying the voters’ aspirations.

To attack the Great Russian Bear or/and the Great Chinese Dragon would only lead to destruction, grief and death—on a veritable insane scale. And the North Americans and Europeans would gain absolutely nothing from such action.

This time the creatures would not back off. They would and should, most likely side-by-side, fight against those who would dare to come to their lands with the sword.

Would killing of millions be worth it, Ms. Clinton? What would be the reason for this bloodletting: to defend that monstrous and defunct system that is ruling over the West and in all of its colonies and vassal states? Do you really believe in the merits of this system? Or are you fighting for it simply by inertia? You don’t do it for money, do you? You are already so rich, Ms. Clinton… How much more would you really need? Should we try to set up an account, a global collection? And if we collect certain amount, would you agree to retire and play table tennis or go jogging around some gold pated fishpond?

I don’t really understand you, Ms. Clinton. I don’t understand you, or your cohorts. And perhaps that is good. It is almost as if we belong to two different universes, two different species.

I hope you will come to your senses: I hope you will not cross the line. But if you do, if you insist on going hunting, if you really dare to attack the Bear, or the Dragon, or both, no neutrality would be possible, anymore. You’d force people all over the world to take sides. And you know where most of this poor Planet, scarred and brutalized by the West for centuries, would stand! And this time, seriously, the survival of this damned, dear Planet of ours would be at stake, you know… The era of gentle sarcasm would be over. It would be the final struggle for survival, against a certifiably malignant Western imperialism.

But there is still time to stop. Please do!

2 thoughts on “MS. CLINTON: STOP RUSSIAN ‘BEAR HUNTING’

  1. Good article. I’m with you on this one hands down.

I look forward to your columns, and am always pleased to discover a new one. It is not that I always agree with everything you say. Rather, it seems to me that you write what you do because you care about people, about what happens to them. This is the same sense that I get from the speeches and writings of Michael Parenti, and of a very few others. Please keep up the good work.

  2. I’m looking at Andre Vitchek’s article: “Ms. Clinton: Stop Russian ‘Bear Hunting’ and immediately before reading the first paragraph, I wanted to throw down some ideas about warmongers- in general, without naming any names. I’d really like to probe into the mindset that makes people of that description behave the way they do. I personally think that warmongering is more than bolstering an odious business set, it is a sickness, and you might even say a compulsion brought on by the infestation of one or more demons.

The question I have to ask is, why would any sane person do the things, say the things that warmongers do? Have you noticed how manipulative they can be as they try to direct the public perception of warfare and the need to wage it? If you stop and think about it, you get disgusted, or horrified, or a combination. If you don’t think so, then look at how we were schooled like hapless fish with the whole 9/11 fiasco. First they set the stage with gruesome visuals and blame it on “terrorists” they created, and then destroy two countries as the prescribed retribution, even though they can’t prove that either one had anything to do with it. If any country should have been attacked in retribution, the two best choices would be Israel and England. But why? Why should the populations of either one be caused to suffer for the crimes and sickness of the miscreants that pose as their governments? They shouldn’t, really; that isn’t justice. But, as we have seen, this is how warmongers roll. No, England and Israel were not attacked, even though responsible because at the time, they were allies (or accomplices). That can change though because… With them, it’s war under any pretext, as long as the cash registers at the defense contractors they shill for are ringing and as long as they themselves do not have to smell the burning gunpowder and flesh, and hide their heads from the terror of a rain of ‘smart-bombs.’ Instead, let an Iraqi on a bicycle be blown up along with the bridge destroyed by a precision GPS guided bomb…and then gloat about it on TV.

I hate TV. I don’t watch it. I haven’t watched it for nearly 20 years. Who among you can say that too in all honesty? Very damned few of you. Did you know that you’re part of the problem? You are both being played, and playing into the whole deception game that is destroying our world and if you’re worried about something like that happening, then you will have to stop being played. And when you prove you can’t be played any more, they’re finished. Game over.
