Dexter enjoying the warm company of his canine friend. He loved everyone, but clearly had a very special link with this household companion.
This is the simple but moving story of Dexter, a wonderful Tuxedo kitty who came to live with this compassionate family at the age of 20, a very old boy by then whom nobody wanted. This miracle of sorts was facilitated by the animal organisation Best Friends, which we strongly endorse for their extraordinary work. His final forever family lives near Kanab, in Southern Utah, where Best Friends principal refuge is.
Below, some comments from the YouTube page. It's good to see that many people have a natural compassion and empathise with the downtrodden, the infirm, and the vulnerable.
We kick off this new section—INSPIRING—with an animal story because it is animals that often provide the uplifting feeling that grips our hearts when in the presence of great innocence and great affection.

This is tacky bourgeois inspiration…. Plush lives for companion animals, tears for their natural deaths…. but no tears for the millions killed in shelters throughout the USA… No tears for the billions of food animals slaughtered because they don’t fit into a bourgeois lifestyle… When we sentamentalize the few lucky animals who have escaped the violence of dominion as inspirational we fall all the other animals subjected to the brutalities inspired by dominion.
