Sidda’s sudden passing provoked both tremendous sadness and critical comments from a number of observers who took exception to the diet he was being given, or the prolongation of his pain (caused according to some experts to septicemia) by not euthanising him. Either way, it’s clear he was treated with affection, generosity and dignity by the outside expert teams, the Indian army engineers and local villagers. Sidda’s passing, as is always the case with any creature that leaves this world under such conditions, is something to regret. We can only dream of a world in which humanity much better organised, in peace and fraternity, and with capable and moral leaders, could accomplish to minimise or eliminate avoidable suffering in all possible ways.

^0Americans are the most over-entertained, uninformed people on the planet.

Ignorant about domestic and geopolitical issues mattering most.

The most important act anyone can do is stop using all mainstream media.

No exceptions whatsoever. It’s brainwash propaganda.

Toxic sludge for the mind.

Voices like this are NEVER heard on the mainstream media.

The "1%" is the global plutocracy, the billionaires.

A sociopathic, puny segment of humanity.

These people pretend to honor and defend democracy.

But are its murderers and undertakers.

Gross injustice, war, grotesque inequality is their handiwork.

And the murder of the planet

Just 8 billionaires own as much wealth as HALF of all humanity.

That's 8 guys are richer than 4 billion people.

The corporate media is their main line of defense.

That's why the best way to break their hold on us...

Is to break their media.

The corporate chokehold on political information is killing us.

Save humanity, the planet and its innocent creatures.

Increase public distrust in the mainstream media.

Defeat their power to mislead.

They lie 24/7. They sell you war. Injustice. Death. Confusion.

And they never stop.

Some more obviously than others, but they all lie.

So trust no one on the Big Media.

And beware of "entertainment shows".

Most also carry highly toxic imperialist propaganda.

Like the fungal NCIS series. Or "24", glorifying DHS.

The police state.

Or CBS Madam Secretary.

A ridiculous show, like The West Wing.

Telling us the US government is good.

That the president is good...that its cabinet is good.

That the US establishment—which they represent...

has noble aims. Rubbish!

Get the healing truth from citizens' media.

Like The Greanville Post and similar free voices.

Do your part to break the power of the mainstream media.

Defeat the presstitutes. The media felons.

Become a soldier in the battle of communications.

Which we must win.

As the ruling cliques prepare the world for nuclear war...

now it's a matter of survival!

  1. The people of India live with elephants in their midst, to the point that Sidda, a wild bull elephant, was known to the local residents and looked out for. When he injured himself, they sought help from the Forest Department which enlisted WildlifeSOS India to help. I cringe to think that had such a seriously injured wilderness animal were found, he would have been euthanized (killed on the spot). It would not have been worth the effort or expense to try to save his live… But India is different. Guided by Ahimsa, a wild bull elephant is part of the community and worthy of respect.

Furthermore, in the west, it is often the Forest Dept (Dept Hunting & Fishing), that instigate in carries out culls of any and every wilderness animal imaginable, from the humble prairie dog to the the majestic wolf. No animal is safe from annihilation in a nation that honors the biblical, dominion view of animals.

When additional help was required, the Indian Army was called in to build a structure that could support Sidda’s weight as he healed. This is unlikely to happen in the west where, the american military discourages soldiers from forming bonds with dogs in lands where they are stationed. The fear is that they will lose the urge to kill.. There have been reports of animal abuse encouraged by the military such as using animals as targets or sadistically destroying them to teach soldiers how to kill. The thought of the military coming to the aid of an animal is unimaginable in the west.

Though Sidda’s injuries were too grave and he did not survive, his story is a tale of hope for the animals of India. The care and respect shown to Siddia is just the tip of the wonderful work being done to preserve animal lives in India. Despite violent set-backs involving human-animal conflict, India is leading the way forward for animals.

  2. correction,
‘I cringe to think that had such a seriously injured wilderness animal were found, he would have been euthanized (killed on the spot)’

I cringe to think that had such a seriously injured wilderness animal been found, in the west he would have been euthanized (killed on the spot). Too much trouble to save him.

  3. Western media is in a feeding frenzy over a single incident in India of an elephant who caught fire when fleeing from villagers attempting to chase away an elephant. Western media has portrayed this as what life is like for elephants in India… Fear of elephant stampedes is real… so that some out of fear have used cruel methods to discourage elephants from running through their fields and villages. When one considers the brutal all-encompassing effect that judeo.christian dominion exerts when it unleashes the fury of dominion, the reality for animals in western nations is far more bleak. I received a stunning description of the ignorance & hypocrisy of western media from one of my colleagues. The following was sent to me by Sharon Azar:

Exactly!! here in the U.S. and Europe, the suffering and torture of non-human animals at the hands of humans is a daily occurrence on factory farms, research laboratories, zoos, dog fighting rings and on the streets where cats are set afire and dogs are chased down and beaten on a daily basis. Indeed we have become inured to the pain of these beings. And then the Washington Post and other media here in the U.S. has the temerity to look at India where most animals are respected and indeed revered and point the finger! Certainly there are patches of cruelty even in India, but if you look at the big picture most Indian people are horrified at any cruelty to animals. The Judeo-Christian holy books sanction animal cruelty (Genesis 1:26 “Then God said, “Let us make man in our image…let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing …on the earth); whereas The Indian holy books condemns violence against ALL life. (“For there is nothing inaccessible for death. All beings are fond of life, hate pain, like pleasure, shun destruction, like life, long to live. To all life is dear.” –Jain Acharanga Sutra)
