ROBERT FANTINA—Parents, when speaking of their grown children in the military, speak proudly of their ‘service’. Veterans, those who do not regret their time in the military, talk about how they helped ‘keep America free’. Police officers appear to have little concern about their countless victims, or the suffering and grief of the loved ones of those victims.

ANN GARRISON—If the Democrats were distressed by the dictatorial and/or totalitarian implication of Trump’s military parade, they would stop sending shrill e-mails and circulating change.org and moveon.org petitions calling him an “authoritarian” and get real. What could be more authoritarian than US wars in seven nations, 800 to 1000 US military bases on foreign soil, and five geographic commands spanning the globe, plus space and cyber commands? What could be more authoritarian than the orders that US presidents gave and the coercive measures they imposed on all the other leaders and peoples of the world long before Trump moved into The White House?

MAHBOOB A KHAWAJA—There has never in history been a population as unaware as Americans. The world is amazed that an insouciant people became, if only for a short time, a superpower. The world needs intelligence and leadership in order to avoid catastrophe, but America can provide neither intelligence nor leadership. America is a lost land where nuclear weapons are in the hands of those who are concerned only with their own power. Washington is the enemy of the entire world and encompasses the largest concentration of evil on the planet. Where is the good to rise up against the evil?”

CJ HOPKINS—”You might naturally assume that these Good Americans would give us the benefit of the doubt this time, i.e., those of us who are challenging the narrative the corporate media has been ramming down our throats since Hillary Clinton lost the election. But, no … nothing of the sort. No, this time, we’re not “terrorist sympathizers.” We’re “Putin sympathizers,” “Russian operatives,” or at the very least we’re “useful idiots” who are helping Russia destroy democracy by “sowing discord,” “disunity,” “division,” and other forms of dissent throughout the West…”
