GLENN GREENWALD—Tonight – that the U.S. media is biased and pursues a political agenda rather than truthful reporting is hardly in dispute these days. Less obvious is exactly what that agenda is. There are many ways to express it, but often, the overarching allegiance is not so much to any political party or even the left versus right wars, but rather status quo power subservience to the U.S. Security State, and, especially, a virtually reflexive craving for more U.S. war.

The Gouzenko Hoax That Unleashed the Cold War
32 minutes readMATT EHRET—Could the lack of evidence and the long gap in time be related to Gouzenko’s five and a half month stay at Ottawa’s Camp X spy compound under the control of Sir William Stephenson before his defection was made public? Could those apparent 108 documents used by Gouzenko’s dodgy dossier have anything to do with the Camp X Laboratory which specialized in forging letters and other official documents? If you find yourself thinking about the parallels of this story to the more recent case of the Brookings Institute’s Igor Danchenko who was found to be the “source” of the dodgy dossiers used to create RussiaGate by MI6’s Christopher Steele, Richard Dearlove and Rhodes Scholar Strobe Talbott, then don’t be shocked. It means you are using your brain.

NewsGuard Forced a Site to Remove All My Articles Because of References to Nazism in Ukraine
31 minutes readERIC ZUESSE—ewsGuard, a news-site rating organization, which was founded and is run by the neoconservative journalist Steven Brill, is trusted enough by some online readers so that when NewsGuard threatened to downgrade a certain news-site’s rating at NewsGuard unless the site removed all my articles, the site removed all my articles.

“The FBI’s penetration of Twitter constituted just one part of a much larger intelligence operation—one in which the bureau offshored the machinery it used to interfere in the 2016 election and embedded it within the private sector. The resulting behemoth, still being built today, is a public-private consortium made up of U.S. intelligence agencies, Big Tech companies, civil society institutions, and major media organizations that has become the world’s most powerful spy service—one that was powerful enough to disappear the former president of the United States from public life, and that is now powerful enough to do the same or worse to anyone else it chooses…”

Tucker Carlson: We were shocked to learn this
6 minutes readA highly unusual program with Tucker Carlson exposing the usually untouchable CIA for the criminal organisation it is. This kind of report should have been distributed by a leftist channel, but they do not exist in the US/WESTERN media universe, as the whole rump spectrum —the permitted Overton Window—extends from the center right to extreme right.
