Thatcher like Reagan formed the nadir of Capitalism in its cruelest and most vulgar terms, already described by Adam Smith (see the excellent article with Chomsky commenting on the total mis-reading of Smith, which points to the present intellectual dishonesty). We are living with the results of the state policies instituted by these two enemies of the people (in the Marxian sense), Thatcher and Reagan.
