Fox News Host Tells Pope Francis to Leave U.S.: ‘He Doesn’t Belong Here: Capitalism is Our Savior’

Kilmeade: he knows what his masters want him to say and he does it. A pathetic little man.

Kilmeade: He damn well knows what his masters at Fox want him to say and he does it. A pathetic little man, either totally brainwashed (not improbable) or a presstitute for a corrupt status quo. Take your pick.

JUSTIN LANE | RING OF FIRE

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade had pathetic and degrading words for Pope Francis while talking with Chris Wallace. Kilmeade said that he thinks the Pope should just stay out of America if he is going to criticize the GOP’s obsession with capitalism and climate change denial.

The Beavis or the Butt-Head of mainstream television. You decide. Maybe both.

Kilmeade: Yeah, I’m Catholic and he could stay home. Some of his comments just have no place. He’s in the wrong country. But I tell you what —

Wallace: What? He’s in the wrong country? What does that mean?

Kilmeade: He doesn’t like capitalism. He blames us and money for what’s going on in the Middle East. He says that global warming — we’ve got to do more to have global warming — we’re doing more than anybody else. Get on China, show some courage. He’s never visited our country before, now he gets around to it and he’s critical going in? I’ve had enough, you know — take on, take on Islam, then talk to me.

[…]

Kilmeade: Tired of the pope.

As always, Fox News is totally ignorant [or pretends to be—Editors]. Pope Francis has spoken out against terrorism and abuse of religion, including Islamic extremism. After the attacks on Charlie Hebdo in France, Pope Francis stated the following:

“Violence is always the product of a falsification of religion”.

“Religious fundamentalism, even before it eliminates human beings by perpetrating horrendous killings, eliminates God himself, turning him into a mere ideological pretext.”

“I express my hope that religious, political and intellectual leaders, especially those of the Muslim community, will condemn all fundamentalist and extremist interpretations of religion which attempt to justify such acts of violence.”

BRIAN KILMEADE WORKING HIS TWO-CELLED BRAIN TO MAX TO EMBARRASS JANEANE GAROFALO DURING RAMP-UP TO WAR ON IRAQ (2/2003)

Janeane Garofalo running circles around Brian Kilmeade on Fox & Friends, February 2003. What Janeane had to say afterward: “The only time I’ve ever lost my cool is on Fox and Friends — this alleged morning news show on Fox. One of the first things one of the morning crew said to me was, “Boy, Saddam must love you.” I’m not going to put up with that shit. I don’t need to take that on a television program. You booked me, and you have a choice: You can either respect the guests you book, or book a guest you can respect. But I’m not going to come on there and have you make such an inflammatory statement. So I lost my cool. And then, of course, Fox News has run that clip ad nauseum as if it doesn’t embarrass them.”

From February 2003, about a month before the Iraq War began and just after the worldwide protests of the impending U.S.-led invasion.
