I can no longer stand to watch the Thom Hartmann show. His position on what he calls traditional hunting is that it is wonderful… the best way to sustainable meat…. Having once been heavily involved with christianity, he does not begin to grasp the cruelty of hunting on the victims. Despite his claims towards being a progressive…. he is a retrograde dominants as he ponders the destruction of the natural world, he ignores his role as an enforcer of this destruction.
It is what I have come to expect from the christian left…. human supremacy and with it tolerated violence to animals…

Dominion is the judeo.christian ethic granting man control and exploitation rights to animals and nature…. the effort to whitewash this cruel ethic relabels it ‘stewardship’. But no matter how it is labeled the right to control, own and destroy animal lives and nature for human advantage does not serve conservation or compassion.
