Col. Larry Wilkerson: Trump Attack on Syria Driven by Domestic Politics

Larry Wilkerson is a refreshing witness to all the criminality going around, a criminality he was once part of (as a member of Colin Powell's staff, etc.). His statements are now honest, spot on and courageous. And we are immensely indebted for his witness. But he is also, like our often published author, Paul Craig Roberts, a work in progress. Roberts has yet to denounce the regime he once served, the Reagan administration, not to mention the fact that while he has increasingly turned into a critic of capitalism, he has not yet severed all emotional and intellectual links with it. That said, his contributions these days (with humanity on the brink of extinction) to the education of many people about world realities are frequently priceless and vital. So, we can say he is still evolving and the evolution is certainly for the better.

The Zionist-Neocons embedded in the US foreign policy establishment and CIA constitute one of the most dangerous groups of people in history. Hitler at best could conquer and slave the world. This sociopathic bunch can reduce every human being and every living creature to radioactive ashes. Their most public faces are Hillary Clinton and the tireless warmonger John McCain, of late inseparable with his new buddy in crime, Lindsey Graham. ("Neoconned" Parry ) Other neocons include Susan Rice, Samantha Power, Victoria Nuland, Bob Kagan's wife, the Kristols, Elliott Abrams, Richard Perle, Michael Ledeen, Frank Gaffney and many others of equal or similar repulsive pedigree.

In Col. Wilkerson's case, despite his remarkable transformation from a creature of the military establishment to critic, we can say he still clings to and regurgitates some pretty harmful Western (imperial) soundbites which have been proven to be utter falsehoods, like the accusation of  Assad using "barrel bombs" on the Syrian population. "Barrel bombs" simply do not exist. They are a propaganda meme created by the imperialist disinformers, and repeated ad nauseam by the presstitutes until everyone—even people of Wilkerson's caliber—embrace them as truth. There are only different types of aerial ordnance—some pretty ugly and destructive— used by various types of attack aircraft in service on many air forces around the world. We use them routinely, and so does the IDF and most NATO air forces.
