I’m sick of the demonisation used to indoctrinate westerners about North Korea. It’s not that hard to open a history book to learn what happened and understand why North Korea is so isolationist, scared and paranoid. They have every reason to be. Australian journalist Wilfred Burchett wrote at length about the impact of the war on the North Korean people.

Yeah well, when one looks at the goosestepping hordes in North Korea one wonders, are they really so democratic and happily socialized? And the flag waving and enthusiastic hand clapping looks to a degenerate Westerner like me not all that spontaneous either. It is better to keep a cynical mind rather than drowning in doctrine or in extremist theory..
Libya gave in to get rid of its nuclear weapons. One of the most properous countries in North Africa. Consequences? The country is a mess. We all know by whom.
