The Best Definition of Donald Trump We Have Found
In his zeal to prove to his antagonists in the War Party that he is as bloodthirsty as their champion, Hillary Clinton, and more manly than Barack Obama, Trump seems to have gone “play-crazy” -- acting like an unpredictable maniac in order to terrorize the Russians into forcing some kind of dramatic concessions from their Syrian allies, or risk Armageddon. However, the “play-crazy” gambit can only work when the leader is, in real life, a disciplined and intelligent actor, who knows precisely what actual boundaries must not be crossed. That ain’t Donald Trump -- a pitifully shallow and ill-disciplined man, emotionally handicapped by obscene privilege and cognitively crippled by white American chauvinism. By pushing Trump into a corner and demanding that he display his most bellicose self, or be ceaselessly mocked as a “puppet” and minion of Russia, a lesser power, the War Party and its media and clandestine services have created a perfect storm of mayhem that may consume us all.— Glen Ford, Editor in Chief, Black Agenda Report

A truly piercing and urgent message about the self-inflicted calamitous situation of humanity, most of them victims of the organised Big Lie and an indecent system based on it.
Thanks Edward for an excellent piece. The sad reality is that the West’s only “solution” to address the catastrophe of global climate change appears to be offering us “nuclear winter” instead. No doubt the nuclear destruction of planet earth will be wrapped, marketed and sold as yet another – “humanitarian intervention.” Surely there are children in Syria or Iran we must save from “evil” by incinerating them in the name of our collective “good”. Meanwhile, we lemming-like populations in the West, child-like in our innocence and disconnection from actual physical – “reality” – will no doubt self-righteously applaud our own unfolding extinction, “liking,” “Tweeting” and “sharing” images of those first mushroom clouds as if they were the latest “Kardashian sighting.” In terms of humanity’s collective survival I can not imagine a more dangerous time in the entire history of the planet than this present moment.
Edward, this is superb, and I shall be linking to it in articles I write.

This is a most timely post, Ed. The word really needs to get out in order to somehow wake up the distracted masses. We are teetering on the brink of WW3 and our bribed elected leaders who took oaths have failed us miserably.
Why is it so frigging difficult for government bureaucrats to follow the Founding Father’s Constitution? Why do we tolerate so much impunity and allow US/NATO to wage senseless destructive wars sowing chaos – in our name??
I’m mostly disappointed in baby boomers who allowed this DC monster to be created while the country was doing well economically after WW2.
Another thing. Why are boomers in both mainstream political parties so extremely corruptible, to the point that they would betray their constituents and country for donations from globalist institutions? And all in plain view for deplorable peons to see. The impunity is staggering!!!
I don’t know how we can get the message out to the masses about the current state of affairs, and that the entire planet is on the brink of either and economic collapse (Great Depression 2.0) or WW3.
An excellent article which I will share with many.

Anarchists can be delighted that Trump enrages the bourgeois. The present US reminds one of the clever political movie Teorema by Pasolini (1968), whereby an unknown man enters the household of an upper-bourgeois family where his presence drives everyone crazy. The lower-class maid goes into self-immolation, symbolizing the weakness of the working classes to be able to place the blame of their suffering where it belongs, the son becomes creative when he realizes that he is not alone but that solidarity mean love and liberation, the daughter cannot cope with her oppression and goes into a catatonic state to escape reality as she tries to conform to male dominance, the mother is beyond help and despairingly descends into self-immolation by her affairs and the father runs naked into the volcanic wastes of Mount Etna when he understands that his world is but ashes. No better image of the dreadfulness of bourgeois capitalist life can be imagined and with the controversial catalyst Trump, nothing in our corrupt politics will ever be the same.
The war party -Democrats- are losing control so the Trump vilifications go on and become shriller, while the US president ignores all and goes about his plan to make the US a bastion between two shining seas. A major war is highly unlikely but probably will be fought once again by several proxy wars in yet to be determined territories which may have the resources or a strategic position important to the US. Many countries see the USA as a lawless place but attractive to their poor because of its free enterprise, which means free plunder, whereas this is a taboo in their own lands. Because the workers in the US work very hard and are very productive, it is an attractive place to invest for foreign companies. All this is evident basic knowledge about a world which is driven by technological economies, slowly but surely reducing all renewable resources to nothing. Which will come first, war or death by greed ?
Did Putin’s address to the Federal Assembly put an end to US/Israeli plans to instigate that war?
