APPENDIX
Who is this Natasha Bertrand? She sounds to us like the perfect liberaloid bot, or a dilettante with all the bells and whistles that confer “distinction” in the international capitalist world, eventually destined to join some fancy establishment think tank, magazine, the intel crowd, or some government department, and make a career defending “the Western Way of Life.” Guess what, we are right. Or get married to some guy on Wall Street or working on the same media mob. Definitely not impressed. But hey, who cares about that in our media world? All that matters is that you have the establishment-certified correct opinion about political issues.
According to Business Insider—
Natasha Bertrand
Natasha is a political correspondent at Business Insider. She writes mainly about national security and foreign policy.
Before joining Business Insider, Natasha worked at a political think tank in Madrid, Spain, researching EU relations with the Middle East and North Africa. Later, she served as the CSR intern at the oil and gas industry association for environmental and social issues in London, focusing on human rights and sustainable development.
She is an alumna of Vassar College and the London School of Economics.
As for Business Insider itself (BI), we regard it as a shady right wing (what else) publication, owned by a German media giant, Axel Springer SE. Springer, criticized as notoriously pro-Israel, is Europe’s largest publishing house. Meanwhile, BI is led by a rather shabby crowd. Even the Wiki (largely controlled by the CIA) allows the following:
Business Insider‘s CEO and Editor-In-Chief Henry Blodget is a Yale history graduate who previously worked on Wall Street until he was banned for life from the securities industry because of his violations of securities laws and subsequent civil trial, which ended with a $2 million fine plus a $2 million disgorgement and the permanent ban in 2003.[19][20] Nicholas Carlson, whose past experiences include Internet.com and Gawker Media‘s Silicon Valley gossip blog, Valleywag, is Deputy Editor. Senior Editor Jim Edwards’ previous position was Managing Editor at Adweek.

The Best Definition of Donald Trump We Have Found
In his zeal to prove to his antagonists in the War Party that he is as bloodthirsty as their champion, Hillary Clinton, and more manly than Barack Obama, Trump seems to have gone “play-crazy” -- acting like an unpredictable maniac in order to terrorize the Russians into forcing some kind of dramatic concessions from their Syrian allies, or risk Armageddon. However, the “play-crazy” gambit can only work when the leader is, in real life, a disciplined and intelligent actor, who knows precisely what actual boundaries must not be crossed. That ain’t Donald Trump -- a pitifully shallow and ill-disciplined man, emotionally handicapped by obscene privilege and cognitively crippled by white American chauvinism. By pushing Trump into a corner and demanding that he display his most bellicose self, or be ceaselessly mocked as a “puppet” and minion of Russia, a lesser power, the War Party and its media and clandestine services have created a perfect storm of mayhem that may consume us all.— Glen Ford, Editor in Chief, Black Agenda Report

If I look up at the sky, and state: “the sky is blue,” and Vladimir Putin looks up at the sky, and states: “the sky is blue,” – I have unknowingly morphed into a “Putin apologist” in the eyes of Western media. Perhaps a seminar and training on the topic of “critical thinking” would be helpful to these well paid shills for amoral power.
Indeed, and a darker, more acutely threatening development is the effort by the deep state and its henchmen to create the condition for a total suppression of dissent—a project which is already well advanced, while the US public, as usual, is cheering it on, asleep or indifferent. Consider this: At home, and throughout the “West”, it’s clear the work of stifling dissent is accelerating. Our site (The Greanville Post) has seen its circulation drop dramatically over the last 18 months, most acutely since September of last year, (even if it still manages a respectable audience) mostly as a result of… Read more »
Wow!!!!!! Thanks for sharing that. It was really quite stunning to read and contemplate. I did post on it which I’ll share below – it looks like the hotlinks I included didn’t carry over accurately to this email. Thanks again for sharing this Addison. _________ Wow! I’m appropriately impressed by the use of “scientific method” to deny the importance of the existence of actual individual “facts” that might be in conflict with the “official story” of global events — dispensing with such “individual facts”in favor of “statistical analysis” that can then blanket dismiss any such “alternative” versions of events. Sorry to be… Read more »
