CROSSTALKING: Enforced speech

HELP ENLIGHTEN YOUR FELLOWS. BE SURE TO PASS THIS ON. SURVIVAL DEPENDS ON IT.
RT.COM DISPATCHES

CrossTalking with Emmanuelle Gave, Lionel, and Daniel McAdams.

Hosted by Peter Lavelle

Editor’s Note: Except for the false equation of the USSR and Hitler’s Germany—which is in itself a dishonest meme used by liberals (and conservatives), an interesting discussion. Peter Lavelle should have spotted that big doo doo by Emmanuelle, and called her on it, but he didn’t, so 3.5 stars instead of 5. I was hoping that the era of cheap left anti-communism was over, but I guess I was wrong. —PG

Not long ago the political left were the guardians of free speech. Along with tech tyrants, the left today has gone from protecting speech to enforcing speech. Even to the point of penalizing you if you say the wrong thing in public. You can lose your job and livelihood. Welcome to the era of simply ‘shut up and nod.’

Make sure many more people see this. It's literally a matter of life an death. Imperial lies kill! Share widely.

  1. I am continually disappointed by Lavelle, who has degenerated into a paleo conservative propagandist. He is always complaining about ‘The Left’ omitting sites like Greanville Post. He is pro Russia which is fair enough and decries identity politics on the quasi Left, which is basically subversion of authentic Left positions by conflating Marxist analysis of Capitalism and colonialism with “cultural Marxism”. As if Karl Marx was concerned about transgender bathrooms and rainbow flags.

Such issues are distractions which I’d say are deliberately created to deflect authentic Left critique. Not unlike the fraudulent anti Stalinist and anti Soviet McCarthyite propaganda to squelch a nascent socialist movement that would have avoided the horror of post WWII neo colonialism and predatory capitalism.

None of that appears on Cross Talk, ‘Where ALL things are (NOT!) Considered”.

It’s a blind spot which causes me to avoid his show. Lee Camp is way better. Chris Hedges likewise.
