Col. Douglas Macgregor (R)

Macgregor is one of a handful of military experts who has the knowledge, intelligence, and moral integrity to speak truthfully to the nation. No surprise, therefore, that his words are not exactly welcome on the main disinformation channels. He should be a household name across America, but isn't. Which is our loss.

Col. Douglas Macgregor joins David Gornoski to talk about Zelenskyy’s recent remarks on a “preemptive strike,” whether Russia is losing ground in Ukraine, how the outcome of the war is shaping out to be, what lies in the future for Germany, and more. Can we trust the media on what is going on in Ukraine? Why are the regions of former East Germany still atheist? Is it wise to move to big cities and leave one’s family?
ABOUT THE AUTHOR / SOURCE
Douglas Abbott Macgregor (born January 4, 1953) is a retired U.S. Army Colonel and government official, and an author, consultant, and television commentator.[1] In 2020, President Donald Trump proposed Macgregor as ambassador to Germany, but the Senate blocked the nomination. On November 11, 2020, a Pentagon spokesperson announced that Macgregor had been hired to serve as Senior Advisor to the Acting Secretary of Defense, a post he held for less than three months. Macgregor was educated at the Wm. Penn Charter School in Philadelphia and at the Virginia Military Institute, and graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point with a BS in general engineering in 1976. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia[2] in international relations in 1987.[3]
