Something For The Weekend...
It is Friday, here is my talking head and discussion of... WD-40 by people in the comment section below on YouTube, LOL.
Practically every single word here is a lie, because it is absolutely not a secret that VSU is preparing yet another attempt on "offensive" in the Kherson REGION and that means that they will be launching indiscriminately at civilian population. And here it comes--ah, so well developed BS manufacturing Western media machine. Get a load of this:
But residents painted a much less pleasant picture. Konstantin, a Kherson city resident who spoke on condition of having his last withheld for safety reasons, told The Associated Press on Friday that columns of military trucks had begun to move around the city and eventually leave. All schools were closed, and most state institutions and local administrative bodies had moved to reduced working hours, he said. “The mood in Kherson is not cheerful. The city is now in suspense. Primarily the Russian military from the headquarters and the family of collaborators are leaving,” Konstantin told the AP. “Everyone is discussing the imminent arrival of the Ukrainian military and preparing for it.” Russia has characterized the movement of Ukrainians to Russia or Russian-controlled territory as voluntary, but in many cases it is the only route residents of the occupied areas can or are allowed to take.
So, read the whole thing. This is how another load of contrived and openly made up BS is being infused into already confused Western lay people's minds. In the same time, my source from AP, who spoke on condition of having his/her/they/their last name withheld for safety reasons, told me that Associated Press is filled with a human waste. Seems legit, most of them are.

Why Europe Is Written Off...
... by Russia in civilizational sense. Here is another piece of a puzzle.
You cannot talk to this people, you cannot reason with them. Here is another cretin responding to a fully imaginary "threat" concocted by Jake Sullivan about Russia using tactical nukes in Ukraine.
Russia is not intent on using nukes, any nukes, in 404, Russia is doing it by conventional weapons just fine. Yet, the head of a nuclear armed state continues to respond to imaginary threats. The combined West is in a very deep trouble--it desperately needs, US included, an off-ramp. It is safe to assume (indicators are there) that Russia and the US are talking behind the scene, but as I wrote for years now--the US has no serious leverage over Russia in any field. And the white flags are getting ready. Sadly for the US it doesn't have anymore a competent diplomacy and is not ready, yet, to start listening.
A Blast From The Past
It is not very often that one is reminded so manifestly of one's own past, but this is the case with anniversary of Cuban Missile Crisis as marked by RT, including posting the photo of my and others' legendary naval academy superintendent Vasily Alexandrovich Arkhipov in his young officer times--well before he became the Captain 2nd Rank (Commander) and the Chief of Staff of the 69th BRPL (Brigade of Submarines) of the Northern Fleet.
Or this, here with Vice-Admiral Kosov, (no relation to Paul Kossoff, LOL), also a graduate, like Arkhipov, of our Academy, who was a Superintendent of the whole system of Higher Naval Education of the Soviet Navy.
This one is taken after our parade march on 7th of November (I believe 1982 or 83) at the main square of Baku. It was always a very nice parade.
It is a strange feeling of "sensing" oneself 40 years later and looking back at one's own life, with all of its crazy turns, and recognizing that you probably wouldn't change a thing, considering a massive geopolitical storm which fell on my and younger generations.
The film closely parallels events that occurred during the Cuban Missile Crisis onboard Soviet submarine B-59, with Denzel Washington's character reflecting Soviet second-in-command Vasily Arkhipov.
