Editor's Note: SCF's troubles—actually systematic persecution and intimidation—perfectly reflect the degenerate hypocrisy of the West's ruling elites. We are saddened and angered by this news, but hardly surprised. We are no strangers to this kind of harassment. TGP has been the subject of numerous attacks, attacks that have become more frequent and severe since the "fake news" witch-hunt and hysteria detonated by the Deep State in 2016, when WaPo, a CIA tool, published a piece originating with a shady outfit named Propornot, (see this and this),. Propornot "warned" about "purveyors of fake news", meaning by that, in classic Orwellian lingo, the alternative media, those people who publish dissenting articles representing a threat to the globalists' scandalously deceptive narrative.
As our audience surely recalls, the Propornot campaign, despite its obvious disinformation signature, was quickly endorsed by most of the legacy and social media, along with the political establishment. The "Fake News" scare permitted the blacklisting and shadowbanning of scores of sites, including TGP, a secret type of blatantly unconstitutional harassment that has significantly damaged our circulation to this day. (Dirty tricks on the server also brought down the site on several occasions—one time keeping TGP offline for 11 days. This attack caused a major loss of traffic, plus heavy damage to our paltry finances, putting TGP on the verge of extinction, which we assume was the goal all along).
Concurrent with the underhanded intel-instigated Propornot sham, the Clinton Democrats spearheaded their transparently cynical Russiagate campaign, eventually shown to be a hoax even by a government-appointed commission. The stunningly hypocritical nature of this campaign did not prevent it from accomplishing its malicious goals: the wrecking of Trump's ability to govern, especially in foreign policy areas, and the further poisoning of relations with Russia, America's longstanding "default enemy" (plus other sovereign states resisting Washington's hegemony, such as China, Venezuela, North Korea, Iran, etc.).
The exacerbated Russophobia created by the Russiagate psychosis has served the US plutocracy well. It has made the manufacturing and prosecution of the highly profitable Ukraine war that much easier. This monster—whose end is still hard to discern—now threatens humanity with a probable global nuclear war, but apparently few Americans lose any sleep over it, a curious if not suicidal attitude, but quite logical, when we consider the degeneracy of US culture and the mendacious garbage Americans ingest every day.
Against this backdrop, with truth literally essential to our survival, we should redouble our solidarity with SCF . As well, we should be prepared for probably far more dangerous attacks—overt and covert—on free speech, and, of course, our personal liberties. The globalist elites, who live inside a bubble of privilege and mutual reinforcement, enjoy an almost totalitarian control over the mass media, the shaping of fake reality, and, more problematic for us, the luxury of extremely dangerous delusions.Drunk with hubris, they think they can get away with bloody murder, and quite often they do. In this ambit no trick is too foul, so now they are busily and largerly openly weaponising the law to suit their devious plots. That is a damn sinister development, for sure. But it's also a symbol of stupidity and desperation. The Gods do not smile on those who exhibit such flaws.I guess the above is my cumbersome way of saying that the power of the American bourgeoisie and their accomplices may have peaked. They're in decline, some would say a free fall. They have petulantly over-reached in all directions and now the reckoning is here. They failed to understand that there are always some truths so big and so consequential, their manifestations so numerous, that not even the huge US machine of deception can deny them all. But that's not all. Ultimately, besides reality itself, which is incontrovertible, the truth emanating from every event, our greatest allies in the fight for liberation from this odious system are already deep inside their camp. I'm speaking of this regime's incurable corruption, pathetic leadership, and rapidly intensifying internal contradictions. After a triumphant debut in 1945, less than a century later, internal and external stresses are pulling US imperialism apart. Capitalism even in its prime is an unstable and unnatural proposition, a nervous pyramid resting on its apex instead of its base. Imperialism—its degenerate and more virulent stage—even more so. To survive, this kind of entity requires exquisitely intelligent and skilled leadership (plus loads of historical luck), which this country seemingly no longer has, if it ever did. These realities cannot be bribed off, bamboozled, or intimidated out of the way. The elites' money and chicanery are powerless before them. This means, as intimated earlier, that such realities are playing on our side. The day will come, therefore, when the tide will turn in our favor. And if modern history is any guide, that day may come a lot sooner than many anticipate. Keep the faith. —PG |
