Jeffrey Sachs clarifies the motives behind the West's deeply misguided assault on Russia via proxy Ukraine, and the consequences of the project's inevitable defeat, as well as the growing warmongering noise for war on Iran. Sachs and the judge also discuss the rapidly changing political map in Europe, especially the rise of populist parties of the right and the left in Germany, France, etc., as a result of widespread deindustrialisation triggered by the US destruction of the Nord Stream gas pipeline, a conduit which assured cheap quality gas for Europe. The new "populism" opposes the expansion of the Ukraine war. Meanwhile, Turkey and other major nations seek admission to BRICS (which already surpassed the G7 in GDP), while rejecting the US right to impose sanctions on any country trading with partners Washington disapproves of. Sachs has severe criticism for the US empire application of sanctions, and flagrantly illegal moves like kidnapping Telegram's owner, and similar moves to suppress platforms and voices that challenge the empire's official narrative. Sachs also harshly criticizes Ukraine's and Israel's push to draw the US into their conflict with Russia and Iran. The extremist criminal cliques running Ukraine and Iran see only the upside of such a move, but if Washington gets involved, the chances of WW3 and nuclear war increase immeasurably. Sachs: "Netanyahu is a despicable human being and leader."
