Rest assured Russia will find and punish the perpetrators.

Yes, the carnage could’ve been greater. It was done by members of the Outlaw US Empire’s Terrorist Foreign Legion—ignore the denials from Washington. That Western media continues to focus on the Kate Middleton “revelation” shows how it cooperates with such events. Putin’s address is short and to the point. Russians are very aware of what nation is behind the attack. And Russian resolve will be even more steadfast than ever. Here’s Putin:

Vladimir Putin:
Dear citizens of Russia,

I am writing to you in connection with the bloody, barbaric terrorist act that killed dozens of innocent civilians – our compatriots, including children, teenagers, and women. Doctors are now fighting for the lives of the victims, those who are in serious condition. I am sure that they will do everything possible and even impossible to save the lives and health of all the wounded. Special words of gratitude to the ambulance and ambulance crews, special forces soldiers, firefighters, rescuers who did everything possible to save people's lives, get them out of the fire, out of the epicenter of fire and smoke, and avoid even greater losses.

I cannot ignore the help of ordinary citizens, who in the first minutes after the tragedy did not remain indifferent and indifferent and, along with doctors and special services, provided first aid and delivered victims to hospitals.

We will provide the necessary assistance to all families in whose lives a terrible disaster has come, to the wounded and injured. I express my deepest, most sincere condolences to all those who lost their loved ones. The whole country and all our people mourn together with you. I declare March 24 a day of national mourning.

Additional anti-terrorist and anti-sabotage measures have been introduced in Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as in all regions of the country. The main thing now is to prevent those who are behind this bloodbath from committing a new crime.

As for the investigation of this crime and the results of operational search actions, at present we can say the following. All four direct perpetrators of the terrorist attack, all those who shot and killed people, were found and detained. They tried to escape and moved towards Ukraine, where, according to preliminary data, a window was prepared for them from the Ukrainian side to cross the state border. A total of 11 people were detained. The Federal Security Service of Russia and other law enforcement agencies are working on identifying and opening the entire base of accomplices of terrorists: those who provided them with transport, planned escape routes from the crime scene, prepared caches, caches of weapons and ammunition.

I repeat: the investigative and law enforcement agencies will do everything possible to establish all the details of the crime. But it is already obvious that we are faced not just with a carefully, cynically planned terrorist attack, but with a prepared and organized mass murder of peaceful, defenseless people. Criminals were cold-blooded and purposefully going to kill and shoot our citizens and our children at point-blank range. Like the Nazis who once carried out massacres in the occupied territories, they planned to stage a demonstration execution, a bloody act of intimidation.

All perpetrators, organizers and customers of this crime will be justly and inevitably punished. Whoever they are, whoever directs them. I repeat: we will identify and punish everyone who stands behind the terrorists, who prepared this atrocity, this blow to Russia, to our people.

We know what the threat of terrorism is. We look forward to working together with all States that sincerely share our pain and are ready to really join forces in the fight against the common enemy, international terrorism, and all its manifestations.

Terrorists, murderers, and nonhumans who do not and cannot have a nationality will face one unenviable fate – retribution and oblivion. They have no future. Our common duty now, our comrades-in – arms at the front, all citizens of the country-to be together in one line. I believe it will be so, because no one and nothing can shake our unity and will, our determination and courage, the strength of the united people of Russia. No one will be able to sow the poisonous seeds of discord, panic and discord in our multiethnic society.

Russia has repeatedly passed through the most difficult, sometimes unbearable tests, but it has become even stronger. So it will be now.

I’ve written about the Anti-Humans of the West mostly in relation to their parasitic political economy, but they do employ terrorism to attain their goals, and they don’t have any qualms about killing their own people. I suggested sending a message to their curators by addressing one dozen FAB-3000s to the Al-Tanf terror training facility in Syria followed by a mop-up detail made by the SAA to rid Syria of that cancerous tumor. Unfortunately, I cannot claim to be surprised by the attack. That no Western leader attempted to contact Putin to offer condolences as is usual in such events fits all too well with the essay I mirrored yesterday—yes, some messages were sent via social media, but the initial response by the UNSG’s office was all too typical:

On Friday, hours after tragedy struck at Crocus City Hall outside Moscow, Zakharova criticized the choice of words in the original statement released by the UN secretary-general’s press office – which said the international body was “saddened” by the events.

“SADDENED? BY THE SHOOTING? Is that a brawl at a shooting range or something?”the diplomat asked in her post on Telegram.

She cited disturbing eyewitness footage of the “horrific, bloody terrorist attack that does not cause ‘sadness,’ but rather terror, shock, consternation, unconditional condemnation, righteous anger and compassion toward the victims.” [Emphasis Original]

There are many media reports, but this one caught my eye:

This Is Not ISIS - Rossiya Segodnya Editor-in-Chief on Moscow Concert Hall Attack:

Simonyan explained that the perpetrators were chosen to carry out the attack in a manner that would allow the West to persuade the international community that ISIS was behind the attack.

“Basic sleight of hand. The level of a railway thimble-rigger," she added." It has nothing to do with ISIS. It's Ukrainians."

She added that the enthusiasm displayed by Western media when they tried to persuade everyone that ISIS was responsible even before arrests were made gave them away completely.

Yes, lock-step BigLie Media often give away the game via their behavior. What they did is provide confirmation to those who know how to read their lies.

May the many victims rest in peace after their untimely and tragic passing.

Camel head

The ubiquitous nose of an Arabian Camel

Back in the Summer of 1997, at the height of yet another crisis surrounding the seemingly never-ending saga of UN weapons inspection teams led by yours truly trying to gain access to sites considered by Iraq to be sensitive to their national security, I had surrounded the headquarters of the Iraqi intelligence service (the Mukhabarat), and was insisting that I be granted access to specific locations inside the headquarters deemed relevant to the Security Council’s mandate governing the disarmament of Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction programs. My chief interlocutor was General Amer al-Sa’adi, the former head of Iraq’s military industry and, at the time, a special advisor to Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

I briefed General Sa’adi on my desire to gain access to two specific locations, one in the M-4 (Operations) Directorate, and the other in the M-5 (Counterintelligence) Directorate. General Sa’adi informed me that these were the most sensitive aspects of the Mukhabarat’s work and granting me access would be impossible. I was persistent, however, and at the time I had the backing of the Security Council, which had made it clear in a recent resolution that a denial of access to my team would constitute a material breach of Iraq’s obligations to disarm, paving the way for the US to attack Iraq. This was no empty threat—in the Persian Gulf, the US had deployed an aircraft carrier and missile-carrying ships and submarines, backed up by US Air Force fighter-bombers operating out of bases in neighboring countries.

After denying my team access for several hours, General Sa’adi finally relented, and I took my team to the offices we had singled out as being of interest, where we found documents which furthered our understanding of how Iraq had conducted covert procurement of proscribed items in the early years of our disarmament work in Iraq. When the inspection was finished, I approached General Sa’adi and rebuked him. “We could have been done with this hours ago, and without any drama,” I said.

Scott will discuss this article on Ep. 145 of Ask the Inspector. Watch the first hour live on Rumble, X, Facebook, Twitch or Locals. The second hour (starting at 9 PM ET) will stream only on Rumble, X and Locals, and will feature the music of Bob Dylan. Our special guests Friday night are Malcolm Burn, host of The Long Way Around, who recorded and mixed Dylan’s Oh Mercy album, and Hank Rosenfeld, author of The Jive 95.

Earlier in the day, while my team was parked at the various entrances to the Mukhabarat compound, preventing any exit of personnel, vehicles, and/or documents, the Iraqi security forces responsible for our protection intercepted an enraged Iraqi citizen who, armed with an AK-47 automatic rifle, was planning to carry out a drive-by attack on me and my team. He was stopped less than 50 yards from where my command team and I were standing.

“Mr. Scott,” General Sa’adi replied, “we do not like you sticking your nose where it doesn’t belong.”

“You yourself saw that the information we found was relevant to our mandate,” I replied. “We are simply doing our job.”

“Yes,” Sa’adi noted. “It was relevant. But only as history. We no longer have the weapons you are looking for. We have declared everything. And now you are engaged in an academic exercise that puts our national security at risk.”

I took umbrage at his comments. “We had asked you about the relationship between the Mukhabarat and weapons procurement in the past. You denied there had been a connection. We had information that said there was. As such, we had a duty to assume that your denials were de facto evidence that these procurement activities were continuing.”

I pointed back at the main headquarters building, where we had conducted the searches. “And the documents we discovered proved that we were correct—there was a connection between the Mukhabarat and covert weapons procurement.”

“Yes,” General Sa’adi replied, “you were correct. But so were we. The documents also proved that this procurement activity was stopped years ago. Just like we said it had been.”

“So why not let my team in and close the door on this chapter?  Why delay and harass us?”

General Sa’adi turned to me and smiled. “There is a saying among the Bedouin tribes. ‘If the camel once gets his nose in the tent, his body will soon follow.’ This,” Sa’adi said, gesturing at the Mukhabarat compound, “is our tent. We cannot allow you to put your nose under the tent flap. If we do, you won’t stop until you’re inside. And once inside, you will never leave.”

“But I did get inside,” I said.

“Yes, but we made it as inconvenient for you as possible. And now you are leaving. And if you come back, we will make it even more inconvenient.”

He paused, staring at me. “We do not want the UNSCOM camel in the Iraqi tent. Because with UNSCOM comes America. And with America comes death and destruction.”

Egyptian General

General Amer al-Sa’adi

I have often reflected on General Sa’adi’s words that day, and their prescience—UNSCOM did, eventually, get our nose under the Iraqi tent.

And with us came America.

And death followed.

The expression “don’t let the camel’s nose under the tent” became part of my personal lexicon, to be uttered anytime I thought an unwelcome presence was trying to winnow its way into my universe.

This past week, French President Emmanuel Macron declared that there we no “red lines” when it came to the prospects of French troops being deployed to Ukraine. Initial reports indicated that the French military was preparing to accelerate the reinforcement of a battalion-sized task force (some 700 men) currently deployed in Romania to a brigade (around 2,000 men). France had been preparing to take this action sometime in 2025, but the precipitous collapse of the Ukrainian army on the frontlines of its ongoing war with Russia compelled Macron to accelerate the operation in anticipation of dispatching this brigade into Ukraine.

In the grand scheme of things, a 2,000-strong French military contingent will not, in and of itself, alter the strategic balance of power on the ground in Ukraine. At best, the French battlegroup would be able to relieve a similarly sized Ukrainian unit serving in a security capacity so that the Ukrainians could be redeployed to the front, where it could be expected to be ground up in a matter of days.

The French have tried to muddy the waters further by stating that a French contingent, if deployed to Ukraine, would do so in the status of “neutral” troops.

The question is to what extent Russia would allow such a deployment of foreign forces onto the soil of Ukraine, even if these troops were not directly engaged in combat.

French troops deployed to Romania

The answer?

Russia would not allow such a deployment. First, the idea of France assuming a “neutral” posture in a conflict in which they have already labeled the Russians as their “adversary” is laughable. Adversaries, by definition, cannot be neutral.

But the main reason Russia cannot allow even a limited French military deployment in Ukraine is this: “If the camel once gets his nose in the tent, his body will soon follow.”

These 2,000 troops are just the nose of a larger NATO camel. France has already stated that it is prepared to deploy up to 20,000 troops to Ukraine, the vanguard of a coalition of forces drawn from NATO nations that could total up to 60,000 strong.

And once 60,000 troops are deployed to Ukraine, then NATO will inevitably use Article 4 of the NATO Charter to define a situation of grave national security importance to the NATO collective and convert those 60,000 troops into a NATO force backed by the full power of NATO.

The camel will be fully ensconced inside the Ukrainian tent.

And for Russia to remove the camel, it would need to go to war against NATO.

Not a proxy war, such as is currently being waged using Ukraine as a tool of the collective West, but rather a full-scale conflict which will inevitably lead to the use of nuclear weapons, at first on European soil, and then later as part of a general nuclear conflict between Russia and the collective West.

In short, the end of the world as we know it.

The extent to which the United States is involved in the plans of France and its European partners is not fully known. The Biden administration has consistently articulated against any escalation which could result in American “boots on the ground” out of fear of allowing the situation to escalate out of control, resulting in a third world war that would rapidly devolve into nuclear war.

Russia, however, doesn’t differentiate between French boots and American boots—they are all NATO boots.

If Russia lets the French nose of the camel into the Ukrainian tent, then the NATO neck will come next, accompanied by the American body.

And death will follow.

THE WEST & UKRAINE: DOUBLING DOWN TOWARD ARMAGEDDON

It must be clear to everyone by now that we live on a planet heading toward global catastrophe. What possible factors are driving western political/media classes irresponsibly toward such an outcome?

There appears to be no limit to the degree to which western leaders will risk the lives of every man, woman and child on the planet for the sake of their ambitions in Ukraine.

At each escalatory step forward the chances of a nuclear conflict with Russia increase, yet this prospect does not appear to influence the thinking of western leaders in any way. Thus we stand on a precipice unparalleled since the height of the Cold War where at least some diplomacy mitigated the risk. In these dark times all efforts regarding diplomacy have been long abandoned by the western powers. This derogation of political duties puts every one of us at risk.

War and ever more war is the answer to all those who call for peace through negotiations. As the puppet of the western powers Zelensky obeys the command to avoid negotiations with Russia at all costs, even to the extent of having a law passed banning them. We have never before been on such a steep slope to catastrophe as we are now. Madness reigns across the entire panoply of the western political superstructure. Group thought has replaced all semblance of rationality within a war mode mentality that drives each western leader to forego any perception of reality, totally blinded as they are by dogma.

The delivery of statements making a bad situation even worse arrive daily through the creation of ever more divisive soundbytes that make dialogue between the sides ever more unlikely. Accusations against those they regard as ‘the enemy’, are constantly made in the hope of maintaining the support of their populations while making the possibility of a resolution to the war they are waging impossible. This mindless drive forward cannot but lead to the day when the cumulative anger and misunderstanding, along with the hatred developed through ever-increased losses brings about the final showdown threatening extinction of the entire human race.

What could have caused the heedless irresponsibility now displayed by virtually every western leader? What possible factors could generate such an abandonment of responsibility? Is there some desperate method to all this madness? Surely the genesis of the insanity being displayed across the West is of such a degree that there can only be a few candidates to explain it. They must be in plain sight, no? How could they remain hidden considering the obviously unlimited degree to which a “solution” is being sought. What might these factors be?

We can see quite clearly from the many statements and indeed policies of western leaders in recent decades that a primary concern for them is the economic rise of nations not bound within their orbit of control. Some of these nations have been, until recently, subject to successful manipulation by the West, others have successfully avoided such manipulation. The trend is clear, toward independence from western influence and control and toward the building of regional power centres that can successfully resist the power the West has previously enjoyed. Quite clearly the desire of the West to maintain its dominance over such states could provide a powerful motivation to interfere with this process.

2. The Continuing After-Effects of 9/11

9/11 and the western reaction to the events of that day relate directly to the concerns in 1. above. 9/11 was a massive blow to the power, prestige and seeming invulnerability of the West in general. It broke the myth of supremacy, of unquestioned power and therefore too, of the wielding of unrivalled influence maintained by the West during living memory. The events of that day showed that the great power the USA and its allies wielded had been successfully challenged by the use of violence, the use of which the USA and its allies had successfully wielded against those it itself sought to overthrow. The response to 9/11 by western leaders, to reassert their dominance and manipulative control once again also provides a powerful and continuing motivation for its actions now.

3. The Need of the West Powers to Establish Permanent Control through Surveillance

Again related to 1. And 2. above, this factor represents a powerful motivating force driving current events. In the days after 9/11 the response determined upon was quite clear. a) To eliminate all entities who could possibly present a future 9/11-type threat. We have seen the regime change operations that were part of this goal from Afghanistan to Iraq to Libya and Syria with quite obvious plans for others such as Iran. We can safely add a number of others and most certainly Russia and China. On accomplishing the goal of eliminating and replacing all of these a universal surveillance system is intended to insure no future breakout from a West-controlled enclosed system designed to sustain western control, dominance and global hegemony for all time to come.

These three factors in combination have the required level of importance to western political elites and their compliant mass media to explain the relentless and apparently limitless push forward we see occurring now. If you can conceive of any factors you feel have greater power to motivate those driving us forward, ever closer to the potentially cataclysmic outcome, please describe them in the comment section below.

Will the madness now being generated constantly by the West finally be recognised for what it is, braindead irresponsibility fed by a degree of hubris, ambition, mindlessness and irresponsibility previously unknown in even the darkest times of the recent past? Or will the leadership of the West plough on ever more mindlessly to the final days of us all, unheeding of the vast dangers they usher us toward? Knowing the stakes and the potential outcome due to all factors involved we must all surely choose which side of the divide to stand on, that of a multipolar world where power is shared and in balance, or toward a prison planet where all power is held by one region of the world alone. And all the while cognisant that the struggle now ongoing could very well mean the end of us all.

NATO members are engaged in massive military escalation against Russia, and are deliberately creating conditions that will inevitably lead to a conflict with Russia.

That said, of course Russia is “preparing for a large-scale conventional conflict with NATO”, given that NATO members are engaged in massive military escalation against Russia, and are deliberately creating conditions that will inevitably lead to a conflict with Russia — as they did in Ukraine, but on continental scale. Whether this is NATO’s intended outcome or not is beyond the point at this stage (though there is reason to believe that it is).

It’s not surprising that the ISW is at the forefront of this propaganda campaign. Since the start of the war in Ukraine, the ISW has become the mainstream media go-to think tank for information and analysis. But the ISW is far from a neutral think tank.

The president and founder of the ISW is Kimberly Kagan, a military historian who is married to Frederick Kagan, who is also a military historian and does work for the ISW. Frederick is a well-known neoconservative — though not as well-known as his brother Robert. In the 1990s, Robert Kagan, along with Bill Kristol (who is on ISW’s board), founded the Project for a New American Century, which played an important role in convincing George W. Bush to invade Iraq.

Moreover, Robert Kagan’s wife — and Kimberly Kagan’s sister-in-law — is none other than Victoria Nuland, the former US State Department official who played a crucial role in orchestrating the 2014 US-backed coup in Ukraine that led to the outbreak of the civil war and kickstarted the disastrous chain of events that led to Russia’s invasion in 2022.

So it goes without saying both Kimberly and Frederick Kagan have very cosy relations with the Pentagon and the US military-industrial complex more in general. Indeed, as Robert Wright explained in an article for Responsible Statecraft, “over the years [the ISW] has gotten funding from various corners of the arms industry — General Dynamics, Raytheon, lesser known defense contractors, and big companies, like General Motors, that aren’t known as defense contractors but do get Pentagon contracts”. And the ISW itself is staffed with neocon war hawks.

So go ahead and use the ISW maps, they’re great. But when it comes to their “analyses”, know that you’re reading propaganda aimed at furthering US imperial interests — which in this specific case means drawing Europe closer and closer to an apocalyptic war with Russia.

France considering Ukraine military deployment – Odessa MP
RT.COM

Troops may be sent to the regions bordering Belarus in order to free up Kiev’s units to be sent to the front

Odessa MP A. Goncharenko

Odessa MP A. Goncharenko

According to Goncharenko, who represents the city of Odessa in the Ukrainian parliament, Paris is considering deploying a military force to the Ukrainian regions bordering Belarus, discussions about which “are proceeding effectively.”

“I’m in contact with my French colleagues. And I can already say that everything is serious... There is talk about a deployment of European soldiers to the border with Belarus, [a mission] that will free the Ukrainian military stationed there and allow it to move to other directions. This will help strengthen our eastern and southern fronts,” Goncharenko wrote.

According to the MP, his sources close to President Emmanuel Macron claim the French leader is “very determined” to send troops to Ukraine, but the number of soldiers is still being discussed. Goncharenko claims that in order to form the force, France wants to create a coalition of allies, which could include Poland and the Baltic states. Germany is unlikely to join the effort, he notes, as Berlin sees boots on the ground as “an unnecessary escalation” and is “afraid of a direct confrontation with Russia.”

The MP also stated that Macron wants to create “a joint base for training [of military personnel] and the production of ammunition” in Ukraine. Two locations in the West of the country are currently being considered for the purpose.

“It looks like France is tired of Russia. Europe is preparing to show strength, ”Goncharenko concluded.

Macron said in late February that he “cannot exclude” the possibility of Western soldiers being sent to aid Kiev in its fight against Moscow. His comments triggered a barrage of criticism from other NATO member states, who mostly disavowed his proposal and claimed that they had no plans to send troops to the conflict zone.

However, earlier this week, the head of Russia’s foreign intelligence service, Sergey Naryshkin, claimed that a force of up to 2,000 troops was being prepared by France for a possible deployment to Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin also said this week that Western mercenaries, including French nationals, are already taking part in the conflict.

Commenting on an outright NATO deployment to the front lines, the president warned that Moscow would consider it the start of a direct confrontation, which would be “one step shy of a full-scale World War III.”
