Trump, Like Biden, Has Always Been a Whore to the Deep State

The only difference between the two is that Trump is so hypocritical about this that he publicly condemns the Deep State (which he actually serves). (This will be documented here.)

So, what IS the Deep State?

the billionaires who donate the majority of the funding toboth of America’s private ‘non-profit’ political clubs (which is what they are, and have always been) the Democratic National Committee and the Republican National Committee. Each of these ‘Committee’s is nothing more than a private club: it has no legally enforceable obligations to non-members of the club — none whatsoever. All it has, really, is its existential dependencyupon the super-rich individuals who, via their corporations, thinks tanks, news-media, lobbyists, etc., support this club.

Such clubs actually do have no legal obligation to their voters. They pretend otherwise, but they lie constantly, because they represent the few super-rich, NOT their voters. The two of them together represent only the thousand or so super-rich (billionaires and centi-millionaires — who donate the majority of the funds that fuel American politics) so that however much money will be needed in order to fool enough voters to vote for their candidates (the candidates that this aristocracy select to fund), that money will be available to these contestants — and ONLY such corrupt individuals will be able to become high public officials.

Here is great video journalism — one regarding Biden, and the other regarding Trump — documenting the completeness of America’s corruptness:

Is Joe Biden a "Good and Decent Man”?
Glenn Greenwald, on 11 July 2024, re. liberals’ hypocrisy

https://x.com/BenjaminNorton/status/1813012622926880911

7-minute version: Trump’s scumminess (warning: he's revolting in his imperialistic arrogance).

15 July 2024

That is what results from a country where money buys political power and therefore political power serves the dollars not the public — where it’s one-dollar-one-vote (like in a regular corporation, one-share-one-vote) NOT one-person-one-vote (like in any authentic democracy).

On 16 July 2024, at the Republican National Convention, Donald Trump Jr. even publicly acknowledged the correctness of Ben Norton’s brilliant summary of Trump’s career as Trump’s being extremist right-wing, totally in billionaires’ pockets, when Donald Jr. was headlined at Yahoo News “Long a divisive figure, Don Jr. says Trump is a changed man after attempted assassination”, and he was quoted: “‘You know, I think it lasts,’ Donald Trump Jr. said in response to a question of how long the ‘new Trump’ would continue. ‘There are events that change you for a couple minutes and there’s events that change you permanently. Now again it’s Trump so you’re still going to be reactionary.’” So, anyone who would think that the Republican nominee ISN’T a reactionary, would need to be an idiot, because even that son of his acknowledged it publicly.

As regards Biden, and the way that Greenwald documented his career as having been comparably reactionary, I had already documented that on many occasions concerning Biden, the most recent being on 11 June 2024, “Biden is the most corrupt President in U.S. history.”

And here is how that fact becomes displayed in the European Union, which was created by the U.S. Government:

American propaganda organs label Viktor Orban, who is the current EU President (and the EU is anything BUT a democracy, but he did land there, and is now exercising his powers under the EU’s Constitution, which is the Treaty of Lisbon) — label him a “rogue,” for his doing everything he can to bring about a peaceful negotiated end to the current war in Ukraine, which war has been going on now for 10 years:

“MEPs call to strip Hungary’s EU voting rights amid Orbán’s ‘peace missions’: The letter is the latest attempt to rein in Budapest’s rogue Council presidency.”

16 July 2024

Members of the European Parliament demanded Hungary’s EU voting rights be stripped after its Prime Minister’s trips to Russia and China.

In a letter obtained by POLITICO, 63 MEPs addressed European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Council President Charles Michel and European Parliament chief Roberta Metsola, saying Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán “has already caused significant damage by exploiting and abusing the role of the Council Presidency.”

Hungary took over the rotating Council of the EU presidency from Belgium on 1 July. Since then, Orbán has launched self-declared “peace missions” to Kyiv, Moscow, Beijing and Washington and claimed, without authorization, to be representing the EU. [That’s a lie: Orban’s peace-mission is within his powers as EU President to do.] ...

Why does the U.S. regime want this war to continue? Here’s why: It is EXTREMELY profitable to America’s armaments manufacturers, and America’s armaments manufacturers control the U.S. Government and all of its colonial Governments (such as all in the EU except for Hungary), because their biggest owners ARE the Deep State, and because these corporations need to control these Governments in order to be able to control their markets (which ARE these Governments).

What has been documented here is that neither of the two Parties represents you — your choice between them would be only your choice of which group of billionaires will run America’s Government for the next four years. And ESPECIALLY, neither of the two Parties’ s ‘elected’ nominees for the U.S. Presidency will represent you.

It’s remarkable how similar billionaires are to each other. For example: all of the evidence consistently shows that anti-Israel billionaires don’t exist. Wow, isn’t that amazing! Just think about that stunning fact.

So, to vote for either Trump or Biden is to be a fool of either Republican billionaires or Democratic billionaires.

This isn’t at all like Bush v. Gore was in the year 2000, when there really was, somehow, a decent person whom one of the major Parties had nominated — Al Gore, opposed to invading Iraq., etc. — and so voting ‘third party’ in that contest was just throwing one’s vote away. However, ever since then, and very much today, anyone BUT a major-Party nominee would be much better than the proven psychopaths whom the major Parties (their billionaires) have selected.

Even if a person who is condemned to death is given a choice as to which way to die, that still isn’t a free person. Anyone who would call such “freedom” and a result of “democracy” is either a fool or else a liar. It’s simply not the case. This year is 2024, not 2000. It’s a very different world. It’s the world that we were heading towards during 1945-2000, but now it is very much here. This is just a historical fact.

Gen Soleimani's hand

Iranian general Qassem Soleimani's body was identified only by a ring on his severed hand after Donald Trump ordered his assassination.

The words “political violence” are the latest hackneyed and dishonest phrase emanating from the political class. The assassination attempt on Donald Trump was a minor affair compared to the treatment that the U.S. state doles out around the world and even to its own people.

On January 3, 2020, Iranian general Qassem Soleimani and nine other people were killed by a United States drone strike under the orders of President Donald Trump . Soleimani was in Baghdad, Iraq to meet with Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi in order to broker a peace initiative between Iran and Saudi Arabia, two nations which had been antagonists for many years.

At the time Joe Biden was a presidential candidate and he issued a “Statement from Vice President Joe Biden on the Killing of Qassem Soleimani .” Biden said, “No American will mourn Qassem Soleimani’s passing. He deserved to be brought to justice for his crimes against American troops and thousands of innocents throughout the region. He supported terror and sowed chaos.”

Everything Biden said about Soleimani was untrue. There was no evidence of Iran fighting U.S. troops in Iraq. It is the U.S. that killed thousands of people in the region after its 2003 invasion of that country. The lies about Soleimani were spread in order to justify killing him and preventing Iran from improving relations with a U.S. ally. It is important to remember this and other examples of state terrorism practiced by the United States now that we are inundated with hypocritical platitudes in the wake of the assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

Before the July 13th assassination attempt which killed one person, injured two others, and resulted in the death of the alleged shooter, we were told that Trump posed an existential threat to democracy and was hell bent on dictatorship and the murders of his opponents. Establishment corporate media like The New Republic even portrayed him as a new Adolf Hitler.

After being harangued by Democratic Party assertions that democracy itself was on the ballot, suddenly we were exhorted to pray for Trump and for his entire family. Not only was the devil suddenly turned into an angel but history itself was rewritten in the process. President Biden informed the public that political violence was to be condemned and also claimed that it doesn’t even exist in this country. "But the idea, the idea that there's political violence or violence in America like this, is just unheard of, it’s just not appropriate." Then again, Soleimani was assassinated in Iraq. Perhaps the rejection of violence ends at the U.S. borders.

"While Trump is lauded for heroism for raising his fist after being grazed on his ear, Soleimani’s broken body and those of the 186,000 Palestinians in Gaza are consigned to selective amnesia..."

Of course, that assertion is also untrue. Presidents Abraham Lincoln, James Garfield, William McKinley, and John F. Kennedy were assassinated . Franklin Roosevelt survived an assassination attempt shortly before his inauguration as did Gerald Ford and Ronald Reagan while in office.

Biden was joined by others who were tripping over themselves to offer thoughts, prayers and condemnation of the violence that they usually sign onto. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortezcondemned political violence and wished Trump a “speedy recovery.” Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries left no stone unturned as he offered thoughts, prayers, wishes for a full recovery and also condemnation of political violence. Democratic pundit Van Jones , once a Maoist and now firmly a member of the political class, expressed happiness that Trump is still alive. “I’m so glad that Donald Trump is alive, I’m so glad, I’m so glad he’s alive, I’m so glad his family is not having to bury a father and a grandfather.”

The crocodile tears were proof that depicting Trump as the embodiment of evil is a desperate attempt to obscure the Democratic Party’s failures and, in the process, stave off a defeat that is looking more likely. Biden has been struggling in the polls for months, and his debate performance revealed that the party’s leadership has been lying about his health for four years. Biden’s legislative agenda, such as it was, was undone by the greedy capitalist oligarchy that refused to allow even the tiniest crumbs of help for the masses of people. All that was left was demonizing Trump until fate intervened and took that weapon away from them.

Not only were we awash in nonsense but none of these people now paying homage to Trump mentioned the political violence that took place the same day in Gaza, as Israeli forces killed nearly 100 Palestinians in an effort to assassinate Hamas military commander Mohammed Deif . Not one member of congress expressed condolences, condemnation, thoughts, or prayers about this latest Israeli war crime. The atrocity received scant attention in corporate media, and the same officials who regularly vote to give Israel billions of dollars were in all probability relieved that they were not called upon to comment on their handiwork.

Perhaps the use of the term “political violence” is an admission that the U.S. is awash in violence perpetrated by its states and by individuals against one another. But no distinctions should be allowed. Police in this country have killed 704 people this year. They are on track to exceed the 1,352 victims in 2023. Surely that violence is political. Political prisoners languishing in prison for decades are victims of political violence. It can be argued that everyone caught up in the 50-year-long acceleration of the mass incarceration prison state is also victimized by political violence.

Donald Trump was very lucky as he was merely grazed on his ear during the shooting. Qassem Soleimani was quite literally blown to bits on Trump’s orders. He was identified only by a ring on his finger. His body was otherwise unidentifiable. The U.S. doesn’t play around with its political violence. If a former president is targeted by a would-be assassin or if a seemingly ordinary person decides to shoot up a school or shopping mall we get the same fake concern and pretend bewilderment. The same country that assassinates foreign leaders or U.S. citizens like Anwar Al-Awlaki and his son Abdulrahman Al-Awlaki, who were killed by drone strikes on the orders of Barack Obama, expresses confusion when the violence hits home. It is not possible for the same country that spends more on the military than any other, that has more than 800 bases around the world, and that regularly attacks the sovereignty of other nations in a variety of ways, to be shocked when anyone is shot, whether the victim is a former president or John Q. Public.

Pretend outrage and pretend political differences go hand in hand in the United States. Denial is a running theme in politics, especially in a presidential election year. While Trump is lauded for heroism for raising his fist after being grazed on his ear, Soleimani’s broken body and those of the 186,000 Palestinians in Gaza are consigned to selective amnesia. Political violence is the default position in this country and not an aberration.

The Philippines: Why it is Choosing US Destruction Over Chinese Construction

The Philippines: Why it is Choosing US Destruction Over Chinese Construction

While the ongoing conflict in Ukraine continues to dominate headlines, occasionally news stories surface regarding growing tensions in the Asia-Pacific region as well. Driven primarily by the US, these headlines also include the proxies Washington is using to stir up an Ukraine-style conflict in the region.

Among these proxies is the Southeast Asian archipelago nation of The Philippines.

The South China Morning Post in a late June 2024 article titled, “China-Philippines ties on ‘brink of total breakdown’: unpacking the collapse,” would claim to provide an explanation as to why once constructive ties between Beijing and Manila have deteriorated into what may possibly become a destructive confrontation.

The article describes how concrete pillars of a rail project being built with China, have since been torn down, and instead, construction in the Philippines now consists of military bases to be used to point missiles atChina.

The article claims:

What began as a story of infrastructure cooperation has morphed into an epic tale of betrayal and confrontation, the once-chummy relationship between Manila and Beijing giving way to escalating geopolitical rivalry.

As with many pro-Western accounts of growing Chinese-Philippine tensions, the article omits the political transition from the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte to that of now President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., and how the independent foreign policy of President Duterte was overwritten by the pro-Washington policy of President Marcos Jr.

Maritime disputes treated as minor bilateral concerns to be worked out with Beijing under President Duterte, were escalated into a growing conflict under President Marcos Jr. with US backing, meant to serve as the very pretext to cancel and literally tear down joint Chinese-Philippine projects and replace it with the expansion of the US military’s footprint across the Philippines.

Beijing claims growing tensions specifically over the Second Thomas Shoal, a mostly submerged shoal in the South China Sea, followed the breaking of an agreement with China to suspend Filipino resupply missions to a grounded WW2 ship at the shoal during the Duterte administration. Under the Marcos Jr. administration, resupply missions resumed with Manila, claiming no such agreement was ever made.

China has since released audio recordings of the agreement, causing Manila to backpedal and claim the agreement was not official.

The question becomes, why has Manila decided to choose confrontation with Beijing rather than cooperation?

The answer is Manila did not choose between confrontation and cooperation, Washington did. Far from defending Philippine sovereignty from “Chinese aggression,” growing tensions between China and the Philippines is a direct result from the Philippines’ own sovereignty already being stripped from it through its political capture by Washington.

The US, through the National Endowment for Democracy (NED*) and adjacent organizations has invested for decades millions of dollars a year to influence and interfere in the internal political affairs of nations around the globe, including the Philippines, to shift the respective foreign policies of targeted nations from serving their own best interests to serving Washington’s.

US government-funded media outlets in the Philippines like Rappler, founded by Maria Ressa, a dual US-Philippine citizen, former CNN employee, who also works directly for the NED* as well as receiving funding from the NED*, have an entire section on their homepage dedicated to news about what they call the, “West Philippine Sea.”

The US-funded media platform fits into a wider strategy of manipulating Philippine public perception regarding China, specifically to poison the Philippine public against China.
In this specific instance, Rappler and others aim at convincing the public that China poses a threat to Philippine sovereignty and territorial integrity while convincing the Philippine people to allow US military basing on their own territory and to redirect more public funds from development and infrastructure, to be spent instead on military spending including on facilities for US troops to operate out of, and on US weapons sold to the Philippines itself.

Recently, Reuters exposed other instances of the US government deliberately and malicious manipulating the Philippine public with the intent of poisoning them against China.

In its investigative report, “Pentagon ran secret anti-vax campaign to undermine China during pandemic,” it admits:

[The clandestine operation] aimed to sow doubt about the safety and efficacy of vaccines and other life-saving aid that was being supplied by China, a Reuters investigation found. Through phony internet accounts meant to impersonate Filipinos, the military’s propaganda efforts morphed into an anti-vax campaign. Social media posts decried the quality of face masks, test kits and the first vaccine that would become available in the Philippines – China’s Sinovac inoculation.

Reuters, citing US officials and healthcare experts, admitted that the campaign wasn’t based on a “public health perspective,” but simply aimed to “drag China through the mud,” and endangered the lives of the Philippine public in the process.

While Washington has convinced the Philippine public through US government-funded media that China poses a threat to the Philippines, in actuality it is the US government itself demonstrably harming the Philippines and its people through what are admitted are deliberate lies.

Its campaign to poison the Philippines against China, resulting in canceled public infrastructure projects in exchange for a US-backed military build up threatening to drag the country into armed conflict to fight Washington’s adversary on its behalf and at the Philippines’ own expense is only the most recent chapter in a long, sad story of Washington’s abuse and exploitation of the Philippines.

Washington’s History of Manipulating, Abusing the Philippines

Omitted from pro-Western coverage of the current tensions between the Philippines and China and the supposed threat an “expansionist” China poses to the Philippines, is the fact that it was the US who actually colonized the Philippines from 1899-1946, brutally suppressing a war for independence fought by the Philippine people against American occupation.

The US State Department’s own Office of the Historian admits US forces, “burned villages, implemented civilian reconcentration policies, and employed torture on suspected guerrillas,” resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Filipinos.

The US State Department’s Office of the Historian also discussed a “policy of attraction,” which was “designed to win over key elites and other Filipinos.”

Even after the US officially recognized Philippine independence in 1946, through first the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and then the NED*, the US continued a “policy of attraction” meant to manipulate both the Philippine government and its population to serve US interests even at the expense of the nation’s own best interests.

While those in the Philippines, including Rappler, claim that the NED* is not equivalent to the CIA and that the NED* is “promoting democracy” rather than regime change, the Western media itself over the years has admitted that the NED* was created specifically to take over regime change operations previously carried out by the CIA to make such operations more politically acceptable.

A 1997 New York Times article titled, “Political Meddling by Outsiders: Not New for the U.S.,” would discuss the role the NED* plays in US interference around the globe and specifically in regard to China itself.
The article would admit:

[The US Congress} routinely appropriates tens of millions of dollars in covert and overt money to use in influencing domestic politics abroad.

The National Endowment for Democracy*, created 15 years ago to do in the open what the Central Intelligence Agency has done surreptitiously for decades, spends $30 million a year [the actual amount is probably several times higher, with fluffy accounting] to support things like political parties, labor unions, dissident movements and the news media in dozens of countries, including China.

More recently, The Guardian in 2004 admitted the US NED* and its subsidiaries carried out regime change operations in Serbia, Georgia, Belarus, and Ukraine.

And in 2011, the New York Times would admit the so-called “Arab Spring,” was the result of years of preparations carried out by the NED* in cooperation with US-based tech giants like Google and Facebook preparing opposition groups from North Africa and the Middle East to overthrow their respective governments.

It is not that the NED* has previously engaged in regime change, it’s that the NED* itself is a regime-change organization and those receiving funding from the NED* play a role in undermining a nation’s sovereignty and aiding the US in politically capturing that nation.

It shouldn’t be a surprise, then, that US-funded organizations lying about public health or national security threats would also lie about their own funding and their relationship to those in Washington providing it.

Washington’s Anti-China Agenda is Objectively Threatening the Philippines

It can be objectively concluded that it is not in the Philippines’ best interests to escalate an ordinary maritime dispute with China into a potential conflict involving the US military on Philippine shores and along its coastlines, and ultimately serving Washington’s open ambitions to contain China.

exports go to China, while only 14% (less than half) go to the US.

imports come from China, with only 6% coming from the United States.

Does starting a war over a grounded WW2 ship on a submerged shoal with its largest trade partner serve the Philippines’ best interests? Or does it serve Washington’s interests at the expense of the Philippines? The SCMP article already illustrated how badly needed public infrastructure has literally been torn down in exchange for escalating tensions with the Philippines’ largest trade partner, China.

One needs not guess where this will lead the Philippines if it continues to serve US interests by escalating tensions with China because the same process is already well underway in Ukraine.

In Ukraine, the US successfully poisoned the population against Russia through likewise US government-funded media and political organizations, installed into power a pro-Washington government, militarized the nation, and aided in precipitating a conflict with neighboring Russia resulting in a self-destructive war Ukraine is irreversibly losing.

The US is repeating this process in the Philippines. It spends money funding organizations like Rappler to convince ordinary people, otherwise looking out for their best interests, to choose war over economic opportunities, real development, infrastructure spending, better healthcare, and better education.

It requires constant effort to convince people that somehow hating and confronting their largest most important economic partner, on behalf of their former colonial master, is somehow in their best interests.

Genuinely Defending Sovereignty

Nations in the region must secure not only their borders with armies, shores with navies, and airspace with air forces, but also their information space, political space, academic and cultural space, all from foreign infiltration and capture. The price is just as high as when a foreign nation breaches these spaces as when they breach borders, shores, and airspace.

Bills should be passed to prohibit foreign interference, banning NED* and other foreign-funded organizations and political parties. Investments should be made in creating genuine local media outlets. Academia should be made up of qualified professors with real-world skills to teach students how to build up their nation, not divide and destroy it. Culture should be preserved, celebrated, and added to, rather than undermined, defamed, and erased.

A nation that has a military to secure their physical domains but have left all other domains unprotected – even overrun by foreign influence and interference – have failed just as badly as if they failed to stop an outright military invasion.

Ukraine is a living – or more accurately – dying example of what failure to genuinely protect a nation looks like.

While people in the Philippines are meant to believe China is a threat and that fighting against China is in their best interests, the fact that they’ve been turned against China in the first place means they’ve already lost to foreign invasion – not by China – but by their old and now renewed colonial rulers in Washington, and not along their shores, but within their information and political spaces.
