BEN TOTH—Decommunization is not only a process in which history is rewritten and new folklore for nation states is built, it is a continuous process of any land to blame its own shortcomings – poverty, war, economic hardship – on the go-to patsy : It is the fault of the communists. The Real Global Agenda Pushing for War with China
79 minutes readCYNTHIA CHUNG—I would like to make a quick note here, that part of my family comes from Hong Kong, and it is most clearly the case that they saw themselves as superior to the Chinese living on the mainland, whom they viewed as dirty peasants, and likely have retained this prejudice despite mainland China now economically thriving with many cities being much more affluent and beautiful than Hong Kong. Those are two very big lies.

JIMMY DORE—After losing the Democratic presidential primary in 2020 and the race for New York mayor in 2021, Andrew Yang might have been expected to give up on his dreams of being a political mover and shaker. Instead, Yang has opted to join with other “centrists” like former New Jersey governor Christine Todd Whitman and former Republican congressman David Jolly to launch a third party – specifically the Forward Party. Despite claiming to be an antidote to the extremism and partisanship of the Republicans and Democrats, the Forward Party has yet to take a single stance on any political issue. Jimmy and The People’s Party’s Nick Brana discuss just what voting demographic is supposed to be interested in a new party that takes plenty of money from the wealthy but no policy positions.
