GLENN GREENWALD—This is the regime of censorship whose tentacles grow each month and whose power expands inexorably. Like all censors, the consortium that controls and funds this regime recognizes that whoever controls the flow of information will wield unchallenged power, and that few powers are more potent and tyrannical than the ability to relegate one’s critics to the most distant fringes or to silence them altogether.

Peace Activists Heckle Obama Over Nuclear War
9 minutes readP. GREANVILLE—Obama is the de facto head of the contemptible Democrats, a hypocritical, warmongering party that keeps pretending to be “for the people”. The disgusting confusion we see in the crowd is product of massive ignorance, a rotten celebrity culture, and the constant disinformation work of the whore media.

Self-Destructive Social Habits, Loneliness, and Propaganda
19 minutes readEDWARD J. CURTIN—Take the hatred of Russia promulgated by the U.S. government. It is more than a century old. Few Americans know that the U.S. invaded Russia in 1918 to try to stop the Russian Revolution. Today’s U.S. war against Russia is nothing new, yet many people buy the daily lies about the war in Ukraine because it is a habit of mind, part of their taken-for-granted-world.

P. GREANVILLE—CBS Sunday takes a moment from selling us the latest fake Russian atrocity to burnish the image of egotist and suckup extraordinaire, Bono, who never met a potentate he didn’t love. One of his latest stunts, in keeping with his image as loyal member of the Western establishment, is a ridiculous concert in Kiev’s subway, while getting his obligatory photo-op with the man of the moment, US/NATO employe V. Zelensky. We al know, however, that no matter what he does, he’ll never be able to wash away his embrace of Blair and Bush, and his (by now) embarrasingly long resume as a willfully co-opted rock’n roll sellout.

Banned materials: A site dedicates itself to preserving precious documents from political deletion
14 minutes readFINIAN CUNNINGHAM—The political party labels are irrelevant. The ship of state is charted for a collision course with perceived global rivals. Those rivals are of course portrayed as “enemies” and “threats”. That narrative or propaganda is required to “justify” (legitimize) the policy of antagonism and militarism, which is essentially a criminal warmongering policy. This, in my view, explains why the United States aided and abetted by subordinate “allies” are drumming up war with China over Taiwan and with Russia over Ukraine. The collision course is set by the ruling class in accordance with their interests, not by the majority of American citizens. This speaks of the fundamentally undemocratic nature of the US and its allies.
