The Brennan-Rosenstein-Mueller–Comey-Presstitute Witch Hunt

HELP ENLIGHTEN YOUR FELLOWS. BE SURE TO PASS THIS ON. SURVIVAL DEPENDS ON IT.

Update August 23: Mark Penn writing in The Hill points out that Cohen pleaded guilty to campaign violations that were not campaign violations. Moreover, Cohen himself did not make the hush payment to Karen McDougal. He coordinated the payment made by American Media. The hush payments were not made with campaign funds and in no way comprise violation of any law. This false plea by Cohen was apparently made in exchange for light treatment of his apparently very real income tax evasion. In other words, Cohen “composed” to use Alan Dershowitz’s phrase. http://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/402959-cohens-plea-deal-is-prosecutors-attempt-to-set-up-trump

Deep State players Mueller and Brennan: laughing in the confidence that their ploy will rid the country of Trump and return everything to the imperial "normal".

[dropcap]R[/dropcap]ussiagate is an orchestration. It is the response of the military/security complex to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign statement that he intended to normalize relations with Russia.

Trump recognized that the extreme Russiaphobia, which the hegemonic neoconservatives had whipped up since Vladimir Putin’s statement at the Munich Security Conference in 2007 that Russia was a sovereign country and intended to act like one, was a threat to life on earth. The neoconservatives, who have controlled US foreign policy since the Clinton regime, are unwilling to accept limitations by any other country on Washington’s ability to act unilaterally.

Like Manafort’s first trial, his second trial has nothing whatsoever to do with Russiagate, but you will never learn that from the presstitute media or from the Democratic Party. Manafort can still be coerced to say something that can be used to drive Trump from office.
When Putin blocked the Obama regime’s invasion of Syria and bombing of Iran, the neoconservatives paid Putin back by using NGOs and Ukranian politicians financed by Washington to overthrow the democratically elected government of Ukraine and to put in office a government hostile to Russia. The intent was to use Ukraine, a Russian province for more than three centuries, to create problems for Russia that would absorb Russia’s attention and return a free hand to Washington and Israel in the Middle East and also to evict Russia from its Black Sea naval base in Crimea. When Crimeans voted to reunite with Russia, Washington misrepresented the democratic result of self-determination as a “Russian invasion and annexation of Crimea.” Such an extraordinary misrepresentation destroyed any remaining confidence the Russian government might have had in Washington’s veracity.

From here relations between the two nuclear powers deteriorated rapidly. As I and Stephen Cohen have emphasized, the danger of nuclear war is today far higher than ever during the long Cold War as there is today no trust whatsoever between the two governments.

Donald Trump is totally correct that nuclear war would be a terminable event and that nothing is more important than restoring a cooperative and mutually respectful relationship between the US and Russia.

The problem is that the military/security complex sees it differently. After 70 years of entrenchment the military/security complex is an independent political force. President Eisenhower warned the American people about this likely outcome in 1961 to no avail. From the standpoint of the military/security complex, the problem of normalizing relations with Russia is that it downgrades the “Russian threat” that is so essential to the $1,000 billion annual budget of the military/security complex and the power that such a massive budget conveys. Only 16 countries in the world out of 195 countries have a GDP greater than $1,000 billion. The military/security complex is large enough to be a member of the G-20 and to have its own currency and military.

Obama’s CIA director, John Brennan, quickly organized the Russiagate conspiracy against Trump. Comey, Rosenstein, Clapper, Mueller, McCabe, Peter Strzok and others were, and are, apparently implicated as active participants in orchestrating an alleged collusion between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin to steal the US presidential election. Based on deception of the FISA Court, warrants were illegally obtained that became the basis for appointing Mueller as a special prosecutor to construct by whatever means possible a case against President Trump.

After two years the only evidence we have of Russiagate is that it is a conspiracy against President Trump and the American people. Indeed, Mueller, fully aware that there was no Trump-Putin conspiracy, has not bothered to look for any evidence as there can be no evidence of something that did not happen. He pulled out of a hat some phony and meaningless indictments of some Russians in order to make it look like there was a conspiracy without having to prove it, but his main focus has been on framing Paul Manafort.

Mueller’s investigation of Manafort has nothing to do with the Russiagate story line. Manafort’s alleged crimes are far outside Mueller’s mandate and took place, if they did, years before the alleged events of Russiagate. Manafort’s conviction by a jury on 8 of the 18 counts is being misrepresented by the Trump-hating presstitutes as vindication of the Russiagate investigation and as “A dark day for Trump,” with the presstitutes suggesting a Watergate parallel that will force Trump from office.

Manafort was found guilty not of Russiagate, but of income tax evasion and misrepresenting his financial position on a loan application.

Manafort in sunnier days. Mueller decided to put the squeeze on Manafort in order to force Manafort to save himself by giving false testimony against Trump.

We do not know if Manafort is guilty or is simply a victim of Mueller’s frameup and an incompetent jury. American juries are notoriously incompetent, which is why 97% of felony indictments are settled with a plea bargain. Even the innocent had rather work out a plea arrangement and admit to something that they did not do than to face an insouciant American jury. Remember the jury that condemned the survivors of the FBI’s massacre of the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas, to be locked away for many years so that they could not talk and tell of the mass murder inflicted on a religious group by the FBI.

It is unclear how much of a crime it can be to misrepresent your financial position on a loan application when one of the causes of the mortgage-backed derivative crisis was the misrepresentation of mortgage applicants on the loan documents by the companies issuing the mortgages. Instead of prosecution, Washington relied on the Federal Reserve to bail out the banks holding the misrepresented loans.

Income tax invasion is the purview of the IRS, not of a special prosecutor who is supposed to be looking for evidence of a Trump-Putin conspiracy.

So, why did Mueller focus on Manafort? Let Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz tell you:

“All the Special Counsel needs, in order to charge a subject of an investigation with lying to a prosecutor, is a single witness willing to contradict the subject.

“The witness may not only be “singing,” he may also be “composing” — that is, making up or embellishing a story because he knows that the better his story, the better the deal.

“Under federal law, the testimony of such a “flipped witness” need not be corroborated in order to secure a conviction.

“Even one question that results in an answer that is contradicted by one witness would be enough to spring the perjury trap.” https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/12896/is-the-truth-the-truth-when-it-comes-to

President Trump has made various statements disputing the orchestrated Russiagate accusations that, if Manafort as witness for the Special Prosecutor contradicted, could send the President of the United States to prison for perjury.

Knowing this, Mueller, in my opinion a proven corrupt person, decided to put the squeeze on Manafort in order to force Manafort to save himself by giving false testimony against Trump.

This tactic is used every day by state, local, and federal prosecutors. Americans who believe the indictments and convictions are unaware that 97% of the time the convictions rest on self-incrimination in order to avoid worse punishment.

In Manafort’s case it didn’t, or hasn’t, worked. Yet. Manafort is due for a second trial, this time for allegely acting as an unregistered foreign agent for Ukrainian interests and for making false statements not under oath to the US government. Reportedly, Manafort is being held in solitary confinement, a form of torture designed to break a person’s spirit.

Like Manafort’s first trial, his second trial has nothing whatsoever to do with Russiagate, but you will never learn that from the presstitute media or from the Democratic Party. Manafort can still be coerced to say something that can be used to drive Trump from office.

What about Michael Cohen, a former attorney for Trump? Mueller saw no value in the Cohen case and passed it off to a regular US attorney to prosecute. Therefore, it would appear not to be part of the Russiagate investigation.

Cohen avoided a jury and said he was guilty of five counts of personal income tax evasion, one count of making a false statement to a financial institution in order to get a loan, and two counts related to illegal campaign contributions. With regard to the campagin contributions, he contradicted his previous statements. He said that on Trump’s instruction, he paid off two women who were claiming sexual affairs with Trump.

The intricacies of American laws relating to politics are often unclear. Apparently, the charge is that Cohen used monies raised for a political campaign to pay off two women, who saw and capitalized on an opportunity to extort Trump for money, and this was an illegal use of the money. Why a lawyer would pay off women, whose stories might or might not be true, in an illegal way when his client is a multi-billionaire doesn’t make much sense.

But these are not the kind of questions that the presstitutes are interested in.

Nevertheless, Cohen’s plea is associated with a case brought by another prosecutor, not by Special Prosecutor Mueller. I am not sufficiently familiar with US legal procedures to be able to say how this gets brought back into Mueller’s investigation.

The facts are this:

The US military/security complex will not permit any normalization of relations with Russia. Period. At some point Putin and Lavrov and the idiot Russian Atlanticist Integrationists will have to acknowledge this fact, or Russia will be destroyed.

Trump, by declaring normalization of relations as one of his two principal goals for his presidency, earned the emnity of the powerful military/security complex. By defeating Hillary for the presidency, Trump inflamed the US media’s hatred, committed as the presstitutes are to Identity Politics and hatred of the “white male oppressors” who elected Trump. Trump will never be forgiven for preventing the election of the first female president of the United States, an unpardonable crime by a misogynist white male who “grabs women by the pussy.”

The hatred of Trump by the military/security complex and by the white male hating Identity Politics of the Democratic Party is giving the world the spectacle of an American democratic presidential election being overthrown by a conspiracy between the military/security complex, the Democratic Party, and the whores who constitute the American print and TV media.

President Trump stands up for himself on Twitter — I am surprised that Tritter hasn’t suspended his account — but otherwise seems powerless. Whoever advised Trump to appoint Rosenstein, a person committed to Trump’s destruction, as deputy attorney general, which is the ruling position in view of the weak and stupid AG Sessions who recused himself from the Russiagate investigation, intended Trump’s destruction. A disreputable person committed to Trump’s destruction is appointed by Trump to destroy Trump. How can a person so unclued survive?

As I wrote during the presidential campaign, Trump has no idea of Washington and no idea who to appoint who would support him rather than work against him. Consequently, he has a government working against him.

Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham are working to prevent the Republican Party from supporting the party’s president. They could easily succeed. The entirety of the House and Senate of both parties is in thrall to the campaign donations of the military/security complex.

What can President Trump do? He could fight, not with words on Twitter, but with the powers of the presidency. There is far more evidence that Russiagate is a conspiracy against the President of the United States than there is evidence that it is a Trump-Putin conspiracy to steal the election from Hillary. If Mueller can indict on the basis of no evidence, Trump can order the Attorney General to indict on the basis of massive evidence that Russiagate is a conspiracy against the President of the United States.

Brennan, Comey, Clapper, Mueller, Rosenstein, McCabe, Strzok, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, NPR, the New York Times, Washington Post, et. al., are all members of the conspiracy to overthrow democracy in America and establish the undisputed rule of the military/security complex.

The idiot presstitutes’ hatred of Trump might leave them unaware of the conspiracy in which they are participating, but there is no doubt that the American presstitutes are engaged in the overthrow of American democracy, however little of American democracy still exists.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]his column is not an endorsement of Trump. It is an endorsement of truth, and it is an endorsement of the American people who in their distress and with the best information that they could acquire elected Donald Trump their President.

Trump is wrong on the environment. Environmental protections put in place after years of struggle are being eviscerated by industry polluters who have gained controll over the environmental regulatory agencies. This is not a unique happening of the Trump presidency. It began under VP Dick Cheney, the real president during the 8 years of the George W. Bush regime. Cheney turned the environmental protection regulatory agencies over to industry polluters.

Trump is wrong on Iran. He is in Israel’s hands, hoping that the power of the Israel Lobby can shield him from the presstitutes and the military/security complex. What Israel is doing by attempting to use US military force against Iran is unifying a new alliance that is too powerful for the Washington/Israeli alliance. Russia, China, Syria, Turkey, Iran, India, and Pakistan are the locations of populations that massively outnumber Washington’s empire. Each of these countries are being united by Washington’s stupid and inexplicable actions against each.

Militarily, Israel is of no consequence. Twice the vaunted Israeli Army, capable of nothing but murdering unarmed women and children, were defeated and driven out of southern Lebanon by a few thousand Hezbollah militia. Israel is too cowardly to try it a third time, and is relying on the stupid Americans to do the job for them.

The entire world looks at America and Israel, and what does the world see? Two countries, both the result of exterminating the native populations, distrusted and universally hated, both of which survive by purchasing the governments of other countries and by endless lies that describe everyone but themselves and their vassals as evil criminals that must be destroyed.

For example, the Gaza Strip, the largest concentration camp ever in the world, is being systematically destroyed along with all life within it by Israel under cover of the obvious and transparanent lie that all within Gaza are terrorists outfitted with bomb belts who are committed to the destruction of Israel. Not only men of fighting age, but also old men, pregnant women, children, all Palestinians are being murdered by the Israeli military. The United States Secretary of State agrees with Israel that all Palestinians must be destroyed, the sooner the better.

The Chinese are busy taking advantage of the financial opportunities that the idiot Americans forfeit, but otherwise do not seem to have any strategic sense of how to proceed in the drama unfolding in front of their eyes. For China, money is now all.

The Russians are infected with the American propaganda infused into their veins during the Yeltsin era when Russia was an American puppet state. Slowly, if not surely, the Russians are coming to their senses and realizing that they have no American “partner.”

If Trump is defeated and moved off the table, what happens when Russia and China finally realize that there is to be no conciliation with Washington? When all the false hopes and bets of the Russian and Chinese governments of conciliation on the basis of mutual economic interests come to naught, what happens?

It will be the end of life on earth.

The Russiagate “investigation” appears to be timed to influence the midterm elections with unsubstantiated accusations made just before the elections in an attempt to produce a Democratic Congress that would impeach President Trump on false charges. The presstitutes would cover up the frameup. In other words, the real election meddling is being done by the Russiagate “investigation.” https://www.americanlibertyreport.com/articles/americans-should-brace-for-mueller-election-meddling/ See also: https://beforeitsnews.com/v3/survival/2018/2704912.html

Such an impeachment would be a coup. The consequence would be deep and permanent divisions in American political life and more rabid Russophobia that would result in war.

The danger is real that the Democrats’ Russiagate “investigation” aided and abetted by the presstitute media will result in nuclear Armageddon.

The Trial of Paul Manafort

BE SURE TO PASS OUR ARTICLES ON TO KIN, FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES

The priggish hypocrisy of the system, especially of the Deep State Democrats, has never been more irrefutable.

[dropcap]L[/dropcap]obbyist, political strategist, financial dealmaker Manafort served as Trump’s presidential campaign chairman from June to August 2016. He co-founded the DC-based Black, Manafort & Stone lobbying firm, earlier served as a political advisor to former notable GOP officials. He lobbied on behalf of foreign leaders, reportedly not registering with the Justice Department as required under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

Manafort: being played by the Deep State to make him flip against Trump. Whatever Trump may be, what his enemies are doing is equally ugly or even worse, especailly the runaway breaking of the law while pretending to uphold it.

Nor has AIPAC since its 1953 founding, America’s leading foreign agent scofflaw - supported by all US administrations and the vast majority of congressional members, despite operating illegally from inception.

The same goes for other Zionist organizations in America, serving Israeli interests, buying and selling influence on behalf of the Jewish state.

Manafort faces multiple charges, including a conspiracy against the US, money laundering, failing to report foreign bank accounts, acting as an unregistered foreign agent, making false and misleading statements related to FARA, along with other false statements - nothing relating to Russia or the 2016 presidential campaign.

He lobbied for Ukraine from 2006 - 2016 unregistered as required by FARA. Yet no accusations of wrongdoing were levied until over a year after Russiagate surfaced.

Guilt or innocence isn’t the issue in his case. Washington is a cesspool of corruption and other high crimes. Wall Street is notorious for grand theft. Other corporate predators operate the same way.

In rare cases when accountability is forthcoming, nearly always it’s little more than slap on the wrist punishment.

So why try throwing the book at Manafort and not others in America operating the same way. It’s all about pressuring him to provide damaging information against Trump related to alleged Russian collusion with his campaign - despite nothing suggesting there was any.

ABOVE—Ironically it is not the "left" media that is actually talking anything approaching the truth, as Carlson and his guest do here, and this is Fox News, universally loathed for its cynical manipulation of political events.

Published on Aug 3, 2018

As seen on Tucker Carlson Tonight Former federal prosecutor Joe diGenova blasted Robert Mueller's top prosecutor for using fear-based tactics to "coerce" Paul Manafort into testifying negatively about President Donald Trump.

Undemocratic Dems and other US Russophobes oppose Trump for wanting improved relations with Moscow. They want adversarial relations maintained unchanged.

Special counsel Mueller’s witch-hunt investigations, indictments and prosecutions are all about delegitimizing Trump and Russia bashing.

After well over a year, he failed to find any evidence of Trump team collusion with Moscow or Kremlin US election meddling.

He revealed nothing but more about Washington’s dark side, its diabolical agenda, its anti-Russia hysteria - what Russiagate is all about.

It’s a national disgrace, McCarthyism on steroids against an elected president for wanting improved relations with the Kremlin and Vladimir Putin personally.

No Russian meddling in America’s electoral process occurred. No evidence suggests otherwise. If accusations were true, cold hard facts would have been revealed long ago instead of baseless claims with nothing backing them.

The official narrative about so-called Russian meddling is a bald-faced lie.

On August 1, Trump tweeted: “…Attorney General Jeff Sessions should stop this Rigged Witch Hunt right now, before it continues to stain our country any further. Bob Mueller is totally conflicted, and his 17 Angry Democrats that are doing his dirty work are a disgrace to USA!”

Most often he’s wrong - not on this issue. Mueller never should have been appointed special counsel. His witch-hunt probe lacks legitimacy. His conflicts of interest should have disqualified him, including his close ties to fired FBI director James Comey.  He sought reappointment as agency head after serving in the post for over a decade under Bush/Cheney and Obama. Reportedly he interviewed for the job the day before being appointed special counsel.

A special one should be appointed to probe his dubious practices. Former FBI special agent/whistleblower Coleen Rowley blasted his appointment, explaining his longstanding deep state ties. He’s not someone of impeccable character as falsely claimed - far from it.

He was part of the false flag 9/11 coverup. In the run-up to Bush/Cheney’s 2003 war on Iraq based on Big Lies, Mueller supported naked aggression on the country. As FBI director from 2001 - 2013, he enforced post-9/11 police state harshness, presided over persecution of Muslims in America, the 2001 anthrax deception, and other disturbing activities - crimes gone unpunished.

Rowley called him and likeminded US officials “sycophants to power,” complicit “in numerous wrongful abuses of power…”

He proved it repeatedly as FBI director and special counsel, serving dark forces in America, wanting Trump delegitimized and ousted for supporting improved relations with Russia.

That’s what the endless Russiagate witch-hunt probe is all about - one of the most shameful episodes in US domestic history.

Under massive pressure, Trump backpedals on Russia “meddling”

BE SURE TO PASS THESE ARTICLES TO FRIENDS AND KIN. A LOT DEPENDS ON THIS. DO YOUR PART.

By Andre Damon, wsws.org

Trump is engaged in a complicated (and dangerous game) of dare and placate with the russophobic wing of the US Deep State.

[dropcap]S[/dropcap]peaking at the White House Tuesday, US President Donald Trump attempted to walk back statements he made just 24 hours earlier at his summit in Helsinki, Finland with Russian President Vladimir Putin in which he questioned claims by US intelligence agencies that the Russian government “meddled” in the 2016 election.

Trump’s about-face followed a full-court press campaign by all US media outlets, the US intelligence agencies, the Democrats, and leading figures in the Republican Party, who demanded that he reaffirm the US government’s confrontational stance toward the world’s second most powerful nuclear power.

In the weeks leading up to Trump’s meeting with Putin, the Democrats treated him like an invincible colossus. It was impossible, they said, to seriously oppose his reactionary Supreme Court nominee, and nothing could be done to hold him to account for his criminal policy of breaking up refugee families, which was called child torture by the United Nations.

In fact, the Senate had just voted with overwhelming bipartisan support to approve his massive Pentagon budget increase, which included provisions for keeping open the Guantanamo Bay prison camp and allowing the fascistic demagogue to proceed with his unprecedented military parade in Washington.

But the moment Trump did something that cut across a central pillar of American foreign policy, the Democrats and the media ferociously sprang into action.

Trump’s questioning of the unproven narrative of the intelligence agencies was met with absolute hysteria and the implication that anyone failing to hold their unsubstantiated allegations as incontestable is nothing but a Russian agent.

In the post-World War II period, even within the tradition of American cold war liberalism, the activities of the FBI and CIA were always treated with extreme skepticism: as enormous and real threats to the survival of American democracy.

For nearly half a century, it was noted, J. Edgar Hoover ran a police state-within-a-state through the FBI. The FBI and CIA, functioning as a law unto themselves, spied on and blackmailed American political figures, carried out coups around the world and were widely believed to have been involved in the assassination of an American president.

The Watergate scandal, the Church Commission of the 1970s and the Iran-Contra scandal of the 1980s, not to mention the intelligence agencies’ role in fabricating the “evidence” of weapons of mass destruction ahead of the invasion of Iraq, their criminal mass domestic surveillance and their role in drone murder, made clear that these are criminal organizations, willing to use any means to expand their own power at the expense of democracy.

But now, these organizations have been elevated by the media into America’s quintessential guardians, and their word declared to be the gospel truth. Any discussion of their role in torture, domestic spying and drone assassinations has been shelved.

Trump was denounced as a traitor, in language that seemed to invite a military coup. His conduct was squarely declared “unacceptable” and he was, so to speak “shown the instruments.” The warning last year by Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer, “You take on the intelligence community—they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” was demonstrated in practice.

Faced with implacable and universal pressure from within the political and media establishment, as well as the military and intelligence apparatus, Trump was forced to beat a retreat.

This entire sordid episode expresses the degree to which there is overwhelming institutional commitment within the US ruling elite for conflict with Russia, if necessary to the point of nuclear war. This war drive, which aims at the transformation of Russia into what would be for all intents and purposes a colony of American imperialism, has become an unchallengeable pillar of American foreign policy. Trump can commit any violation of human rights, can traduce constitutional norms at will, but he may not question this axial precept of American politics.

The universality with which this argument is accepted within the US political establishment makes clear, as the World Socialist Web Site has long insisted, that there exists no constituency for democracy within the American ruling elite.

It likewise vindicates the assessment by the WSWS that the fundamental dispute between Trump and the Democrats centers on foreign policy. What cannot be allowed is any divergence from what are seen as the key strategic interests of US imperialism.

In other words, the Democrats’ opposition to Trump is entirely from the right. On domestic issues, the Democrats are effectively in alliance with Trump. They support his tax cuts, his attacks on social spending, and, with minor caveats, his reactionary social and immigration policies. They distinguish themselves from Trump only in that they identify unconditionally with the US intelligence apparatus, and are more directly ruthless in the pursuit of US geopolitical interests, as opposed to Trump’s more transactional focus on economics.

The various factions of the ruling elite, in other words, are fighting out their differences through the method of the palace coup, of reactionary intrigue within the state. But one voice has not been heard in this ferocious, right-wing faction fight: that of the working class.

In addressing the crisis that has erupted within the state as the result of the coming to power of Donald Trump, the working class must bring its own methods to bear: those of the class struggle, animated by a socialist perspective... Only through these means can the ruling class’s drive to war and dictatorship be averted.

Parting shot—a word from the editors
The Best Definition of Donald Trump We Have Found

In his zeal to prove to his antagonists in the War Party that he is as bloodthirsty as their champion, Hillary Clinton, and more manly than Barack Obama, Trump seems to have gone “play-crazy” — acting like an unpredictable maniac in order to terrorize the Russians into forcing some kind of dramatic concessions from their Syrian allies, or risk Armageddon. However, the “play-crazy” gambit can only work when the leader is, in real life, a disciplined and intelligent actor, who knows precisely what actual boundaries must not be crossed. That ain’t Donald Trump — a pitifully shallow and ill-disciplined man, emotionally handicapped by obscene privilege and cognitively crippled by white American chauvinism. By pushing Trump into a corner and demanding that he display his most bellicose self, or be ceaselessly mocked as a “puppet” and minion of Russia, a lesser power, the War Party and its media and clandestine services have created a perfect storm of mayhem that may consume us all. Politicians —including Sanders—& Media Scoundrels Jump on Phony Indictments of Russian Nationals

BE SURE TO PASS OUR ARTICLES ON TO KIN, FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES

A bald-faced repugnant last-minute effort by the Deep State and its minions to cancel the summit with Putin, or block any genuine progress toward peaceful relations. Simple as that.

Media Scoundrels Jump on Phony Indictments of Russian Nationals

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]hey’re “lovin it,” - with attribution to a US advertising pitch, selling stuff not worth buying. Nor are phony indictments, solely for political reasons, discussed in same day articles. America finds new ways of disgracing itself more than already. Anyone paying attention knows Russia didn’t interfere in Washington’s political process - not in 2016, earlier, or by cooking up something for November midterm elections. Claims otherwise are bald-faced lies, disgracing anyone making or supporting them - embarrassing everyone believing them.

The Russophobic NYT was especially scandalous in its coverage of Friday indictments, headlining in multiple reports:

“US Indicts 12 Russians in 2016 Hacking: Intelligence Officers Charged Ahead of Trump-Putin Visit”

“What Friday Indictments Mean” - turning truth on its head, claiming “(t)he Russian government was unambiguously responsible for the attack on our election.”

“12 Russians Charged: Major Highlights of the Indictment and (deputy AG) Rod Rosenstein’s Statement.” What followed was a litany of lowlights and Big Lies.

“Trump Invited the Russians to Hack Clinton. Were They Listening?” Pretty shocking stuff, what legitimate editors wouldn’t touch.

“As the ‘witch hunt’ finds more witches, the gap between Trump and Justice officials grows stark” - claiming “Rosenstein laid out the most detailed account yet of how the Russian government tried to influence the election that brought Mr. Trump to power,” adding:

“Rosenstein described a Russian influence operation that had to be blessed by the Kremlin, and named the perpetrators who carried it out.”

The above claims are disgraceful bald-faced lies! Not a shred of credible evidence supports them. None exists. Times editors had their say, headlining “How Do You Say ‘Witch Hunt in Russian?” They claimed phony charges are legitimate.

They blasted Trump for intending to hold summit talks with Putin on Monday. They lied saying “the Russian government undertook a coordinated campaign to help swing the election in his favor.”  A litany of further Big Lies followed about what didn’t happen - no Russian interference, no election meddling. Hillary lost because she’s more widely despised than Trump.

Russiagate should be called Hillarygate, a previous article saying with considerable media help, her campaign cooked the books for her to win, losing for failing to cook them enough. She and the DNC hired former MI6 spy Christopher Steele to produce a dodgy dossier on Trump - filled with spurious accusations and allegations, an effort with no credibility. No Russiagate investigation was warranted. No special counsel should have been appointed. The whole ugly business should be terminated with bipartisan consent. Not a chance, of course! Phony Friday indictments breathed new life into Russia and Trump bashing - conveniently timed ahead of Monday’s summit with Putin.  The Washington and scoundrel media swamps got a little deeper - hard truths again losing out.

A Final Comment

The entire scoundrel media establishment jumped on Friday indictments.

The neocon/CIA house organ Washington Post headlined “A timely reminder that Putin is no friend of ours.”

Just the opposite is true. Virtually the entire US political and media establishment is no friend of his or Russia.

The Wall Street Journal said Friday indictments “raise(d) (the) stakes for (the) Trump-Putin Summit.”

The BBC said the “Trump-Putin summit ‘is on’ after the hacking indictment.”

On anything related to Russia, media scoundrels recite from the same script, supporting the official narrative no matter how outrageous, suppressing hard truths able to destroy it.

12 Russians Indicted in US on Phony Charges

CIA's Brennan—mastermind of the Russiagate psyops, and he knows it. As well as most of the presstituted media.

[dropcap]R[/dropcap]ussia bashing persists because of its sovereign independence, its opposition to US imperial wars, its advocacy for mutual cooperation among all nations - benefitting from peaceful coexistence instead of endless destructive conflicts.

It’s because Washington wants the country transformed into another client state, its vast land mass partitioned for easier control, its resources looted, its people exploited. That’s what imperialism is all about.

On July 13, a manipulated District of Columbia grand jury, influenced by falsified claims without evidence, indicted 12 Russians solely for political reasons on the following counts:

Count One: “Conspiracy to Commit an Offense Against the United States” - a “conspiracy…to hack into the computer of US persons and entities involved in the 2016 presidential election, steal documents from those computers, and stage releases of the stolen documents to interfere with the 2016 US presidential election” - FALSE!

Counts two to nine falsely claimed indicted individuals “did knowingly transfer, possess, and use, without lawful authority, a means of identification of another person during and in relation to a felony violation” against the US.

Count 10: “Conspiracy to launder money.”

Count 11: “Conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States.”

Signed: Robert S. Mueller III, special counsel US Department of Justice

All of the above are whopping Big Lies, not a shred of credible evidence supports any of them.

The grand jury indictment stemmed from fabricated rubbish fed its members, manipulating them to decide guilt by accusation, credible evidence not supplied them because none exist.

Twelve targeted individuals are never to be tried convenient patsies for being Russians, despite no proof they committed any of the offenses claimed - the indictment conveniently timed several days ahead of Putin/Trump summit talks, an attempt among others to undermine them.

No Russian interference in America’s 2016 presidential election occurred, nothing suggesting the Kremlin favored one US presidential candidate over the other.

Without mentioning WikiLeaks by name, the indictment referred to “Organization 1,” falsely claiming it hacked into and stole “documents…from US persons, entities and the US government.”

WikiLeaks is a media organization, publishing information it’s provided, operating legally, stealing nothing, committing no crimes. Yet it’s unjustly targeted anyway.

Julian Assange explained information WikiLeaks obtained relating to the US 2016 presidential election came internally from a whistleblowing DNC source legally. No evidence proves otherwise.

The CIA under John Brennan bears full responsible for inventing the Russiagate hoax - fabricated accusations of Russian meddling and false claims of Trump team’s improper or illegal dealings with the Kremlin, a scheme to delegitimize him and bash Russia irresponsibly.

No Kremlin interference in the electoral process of America or any other countries occurred - a US specially occurring scores of times worldwide in the post-WW II era.

Carnegie Mellon University’s Institute for Politics and Strategy researcher Dov Levin documented 81 times Washington unlawfully meddled in foreign elections from 1946 - 2000 - since then in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Ukraine, Honduras, Paraguay, Brazil, and elsewhere, unsuccessfully in Venezuela, Ecuador, Iran and Russia.

America is a serial lawbreaker, unaccountable for the highest of high crimes.

Its electoral interference is relatively minor compared to its wars of aggression, homeland repression, and other wrongdoing against ordinary people at home and abroad in deference to privileged ones.

As long as US hegemonic rage continues, world peace and stability will remain unattainable. Humanity’s survival will be threatened.

A Final Comment

Sanders: Shamelessly joining the lynching mob. Some leader this guy is. But he fooled plenty.

Virtually the entire Washington political establishment supports the disgraceful indictments of 12 Russian nationals on phony charges. Not a shred of evidence was presented supporting them in the indictment or at any time throughout many months of House, Senate and special counsel Mueller probes. Charges without credible evidence are groundless. Following Friday’s indictment, Bernie Sanders disgracefully said it “confirm(s) that Russia interfered in our elections to benefit Donald Trump” - a bald-faced lie.

Undemocratic Dems Rep. Ted Lieu, Senators Chuck Schumer, Elizabeth Warren, and other congressional members deplorably said Trump should immediately cancel Monday summit talks with Putin.

Like Sanders, Warren lied, tweeting: “DOJ’s criminal charges provide hard evidence that Russian intel agents attacked America to boost their favorite candidates, undermine others, and influence our elections.”

OPINION: Deep State Sideswipes Helsinki Summit With Mueller Indictments

By TOM LUONGO
crosspost with russia insider

“In my mind, this is a level of panic and desperation unseen in the annals of Washington D.C. coverups…this is a desperate move by Mueller…this does nothing at all to strengthen Mueller’s investigation of Trump himself. It actually weakens his mandate as Special Counsel”

Mueller: Deep State tool and current Democrat battering ram. The indictment’s timing and its content are obviously tendentious and as fallacious as the whole Mueller probe, a political witch-hunt of the most sordid and dangerous character, no less so because of its target. Trump can be assailed legitimately from the left, but that won’t do for the CIA-infested Democrats.

[dropcap]S[/dropcap]o, imagine my shock, Special Counsel Robert Mueller indicted twelve Russian intelligence officers on the eve of a summit between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Rod Rosenstein (DonkeyHotey)

Despite his oh-so-earnest protestations to the contrary, Rod Rosenstein, of all people, knows there are no coincidences in politics.

Trump is on a search and destroy mission all across Europe right now attacking the pillars of the post-WWII institutional order.

While in Washington, Congress devolved into an episode of Jerry Springer during the Peter Strzok hearings yesterday.  Both Strzok and Rosenstein have literally destroyed their credibility by stonewalling Congress over the investigations into Hillary Clinton’s email server, which, conveniently Mueller now has enough information to take to the Grand Jury.  In my mind, this is a level of panic and desperation unseen in the annals of Washington D.C. coverups. Both Strzok and Rosenstein know that Attorney General Jeff Sessions is completely compromised and can do nothing to stop them from obstructing investigations and turning our justice system into something worse than farce.

And why do I think this is a desperate move by Mueller?  Because the indictments go out of their way to preclude any Americans having any involvement in these ‘hacking events’ at all.

“So, the trap is set for the Democrats, Never Trumpers and media to hang Trump next week with whatever agreement he signs with Putin. In fact, at this point Trump could shoot Putin in the face with a concealed Derringer and they’d say he killed Putin to shut him up…”

So, this does nothing at all to strengthen Mueller’s investigation of Trump himself.  It actually weakens his mandate as Special Counsel.

The oft-repeated high handed lies are clogging the headlines again. Here’s the always reliable CBS doing its part. Note that in all these reports, while the culpability of Russia remains evidence-free except for accusations originating with the US intel apparatus, the media treats “the Russian meddling in US elections” as a fact.

End of sidebar

On the other hand, it does a bang-up job of shifting the news cycle away from Trump’s heavy-handed but effective steam-rolling Germany and the UK over NATO spending, energy policy and Brexit.

Trump continues, in his circuitous way, to stick a fork in the eye of the globalists whose water politicians like Angela Merkel and Theresa May have carried for years.  Now with Trump prepared to sit down with Putin and potentially hammer out a major agreement on many outstanding issues like Syria, arms control, NATO’s purpose, energy policy and terrorism the Deep State/Globalist/Davos Crowd needed something to saddle him with to prevent this from happening.

The reasoning will be (if not already out there as I write this) that Trump would be a traitor for sitting down with Putin after these indictments.

These indictments are not of some Russian private citizens Internet trolls like the last batch.  These are Russian military intelligence officers.  And the irony of this, of course, is that the intelligence officers involved in collating and disseminating demonstrably false information about Trump which led to all this in the first place hail from the country that Trump is currently visiting, the U.K.

So, the trap is set for the Democrats, Never Trumpers and media to hang Trump next week with whatever agreement he signs with Putin. In fact, at this point Trump could shoot Putin in the face with a concealed Derringer and they’d say he killed Putin to shut him up.

There is no rationality left to this circus.  And that’s what these indictments represent.  This is not about right and wrong, it never was.  It is, was and always will be about maintaining power.  If this week shows people anything it should show just how far these powerful people will go to maintain that power, pelf and privilege.

Because winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing in politics.  Unfortunately, for them, people all over the West are getting tired of it.  And the more they smirk, shuck, jive and cry “Point of Order!” the angrier the people will get.

As one of my savvy subscribers said to me this morning, the Strzok hearings are brilliant.  They are shifting the Overton Window so far away from the status quo that it will never shift back to where it was.

I’m sure Mueller, et.al. are thinking they are so smart in doing this today.  Just like Angela Merkel continues to think she’s survived the challenge to her power and Theresa May hers.

They think they’ve managed these crises. They haven’t.  All they are doing is ensuring the next opportunity the people get to rise up against them at the ballot box the worse it will be for them.  And if the ballot box doesn’t work, then pitchforks and torches come out.

It is the way of things.  It has happened before and it will happen again.

Those in power and their quislings in the media and the legislatures continue to decry this growing sense of unfairness as dangerous.  Terms like isolationist, conspiracy theorist, nativist and racist are all used as bludgeons to shame people for feeling outraged at the corruption they see with their own eyes.

The problem for people like Strzok, Rosenstein and Mueller is that they are simply expendable pawns.  And when the time is right they will be sacrificed to ensure the real perpetrators walk without a scratch.

BELOW WE ARE POSTING SOME COMMENTS WE BELIEVE ARE OF SPECIAL INTEREST AND ACUITY IN CONNECTION WITH THIS DANGEROUS AND TURBULENT SITUATION.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, …isn’t that how you English speakers say it? …we Slavs say it a little differently: emergencies all for change of the rules!

Now, when it finally has crawled form the US’ deep state’s arse to their head, that their days may be numbered, now they are throwing even the kitchen sink at the Trump-et, …’s a little little and a little late for anything now., …

While no one knows what EXACTLY will be agreed upon in Helsinki, …as neither indeed to I, all the pointers are indicating in the same direction, and have been doing so, ever since the Trump-et stepped over the threshold of the Oval Office: CHANGE is on the way!

It would be immature to expect the US’ deep state to keel over and give up, …no, they are too nasty to do that, but that the Trump-et is going to BEGIN acting on the agreements from Helsinki the very next day after he lands on US soil, is just about as certain, as the Amen in the church!

While the changes he introduces may appear at the beginning as next to nothing, …rest assured: they are everything else BUT!

…if he manages to diminish his deep state’s power by 40 % by the end of his mandate, then he’s done VERY well indeed!

The problem with only reducing the Deep State by a percentage, is that what is left will just grow again.
It’s a cancer. And like cancer – especially one as aggressive as this one, you have to get it all to have any hope of saving your patient.
Otherwise it just grows back, twice as invasive and aggressive as before, and in no time your’ patient is facing the end.
If he can’t get them 100%, then the future is looking bleak for us all.

It’s actually even worse than that. Because while we think of “the Deep State” as some kind of organization, no matter how loose-knit, what causes the trouble is the mere existence of a country in which everything is for sale to the highest bidder. While considerations such as honour, justice, decency, kindness, mercy or fairness count for nothing unless they, too, can be “monetized”.

As long as you have a culture like that, and people rich enough to buy more or less anything they want, there will be a Deep State.

Unexpected bonus—

“Make It Yourself Like A Good Chap, Will You?”

Whatever you think of Tarantino, this scene from Inglorious Basterds (2009) with Mike Myers and Michael Fassbender, the German-Irish actor, is one to remember. Using perfect mannerisms, Myers almost steals the scene as a central-casting variation on the typically upper-class British officer, while Fassbender holds his own as a self-assured refined Royal Marine being tasked with an intriguing mission.
