JIMMY DORE SHOW—The January 6 Committee would have us believe that the hundreds of January 6 “insurrectionists” were violent extremists bent on staging a coup and overthrowing the U.S. government. But now that Tucker Carlson has been granted access to the 40,000+ hours of footage, the Fox News host has provided an alternate viewpoint — and he shows how the committee outright lied to the American public about the nature of the protests, the extent of the violence and the participation of undercover FBI agents in encouraging protesters to enter the Capitol.

Russo-Ukrainian War: Schrodinger’s Offensive
88 minutes readBIG SERGE—All that is simply to say that in the summer of 2022 these forest belts were a problematic setting for the Russian force. Now, however, they have rectified their manpower deficiencies and find themselves in a position where securing the Donets forest belt is a high operational priority. This is because the belt runs horizontally (that is, east-west) below Russia’s axis of advance towards Lyman.

MATT TAIBBI—The article, which rails against the “warped idea of freedom… populism, and misinformation being sprayed all over social media,” reads like all the tsk-tsking editorials in the West you’ve read since Trump, which used every crisis to hype the idea that freedom = danger. It wasn’t long ago that a person couldn’t go outside without having the word “freedom” jammed in his or her ear, whether it was Mel Gibson yelling it over his hair extensions in Braveheart or Republican congressman Bob Ney engaging in a Pattonesque invasion of the House cafeteria so he could rename your potato-based side dish “Freedom Fries.”

Pres. V. Putin’s Speech on the Incorporation of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson, and Zaporozhye
11 minutes readRussian President Vladimir Putin addresses the Russian people (and the world) on the accession of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Lugansk People’s Republic, the Zaporozhye Region and the Kherson Region to the Russian Federation, September 30, 2022. This speech, which just about every thinking person in the West should watch, has been effectively banned and buried by Western media, which, never impartial and certainly never trustworthy, has now plainly become little more than depraved totalitarian propaganda.

AMERICA’S INSULARITY IS A THREAT TO ITS SURVIVAL
14 minutes readLARRY JOHNSON—The American overseas military missionary adventures always required a villain. In Vietnam it was International Communism. In Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria it was international terrorism, with Iran regularly mentioned as the uber villain that needed to be stopped. Now we have a new, reconstituted villain — the Russians.
Russia, unlike the United States, has a long and bloody history of fending off invaders. That fact has conditioned the Russian people to be pretty prickly when they are confronted with a foreign threat. They dealt with Napoleon, stumbled when attacked by the Ottoman Empire, the Brits and the French in the Crimea War, and defeated the Nazis. More recently, Russia beat back Islamic insurgents in Chechnya. This history makes Russia deadly serious when it believes it is threatened by foreign invaders.
