SIMPLICIUS THE THINKER—As of this writing, Biden has finally begun his retaliatory attacks, hitting targets in Syria and Iraq. But sources claim that almost every target was known in advance and evacuated, as we suspected would be the case. But the most interesting development on this front is the following. Recall in the last update I indicated rumors that, amid a welter of secret talks, Israel was considering some kind of full ceasefire and, presumably, an end to the war. Now there are new reports that the US has fully doubled down on the creation of a Palestinian state—in other words, the long-sought-after two-state solution:

BRIAN BERLETIC—FPV drones transform cheap, easy-to-produce drones into precision guided weapons. FPV drones have several disadvantages including loss-of-signal as it begins its attack dive or encounters electronic warfare. AI targeting allows an operator to designate a target while still in signal line-of-sight and before entering an area defended by electronic warfare, for the AI to then automatically guide the drone to its target without any external signal. Russia’s large military industrial base lends its an advantage in both quantity and quality over Ukraine and its Western sponsors.

Former Google CEO Wants to Build AI Drone Army for Ukraine
35 minutes readBRIAN BERLETIC—Schmidt claims that, “Ukrainian startups are working around the clock to develop advanced drones that can resist spoofing and jamming.” Yet, this ignores the fact that many more Russians with far greater resources are working around the clock to develop better means of spoofing and jamming.
Ultimately, Schmidt’s “solution” to Ukraine’s losing the drone war (and losing the war in general) is for “Kyiv’s allies” to sustain “financial and technical support.” He never explains how this can be done in a way matching or exceeding Russia’s own efforts to constantly expand its military industrial output in both quantity and quality.

EDITOR—The Duran team discuss their view on how Putin responded to NATO crossing its red line and how everything will change in Russia’s favor after a roaring 2023 of successes. Basically, note Alex Mercouris and Alex Christoforou, the NATO alliance grotesquely miscalculated Russia’s ability not only to resist the West’s assault, but to carve up a colossal victory after Moscow learned how to adapt to the new conditions of war.

PEPE ESCOBAR—The Straussian neocons in charge of US foreign policy could never accept Russia-China leading the way towards a multipolar world. For now we have NATO’s perpetual expansionism as their strategy to debilitate Russia, and Taiwan as their strategy to debilitate China.
