DEBORAH ARMSTRONG—The Director of Mirotvorets, Roman Zaitsev, wrote on Facebook on March 2, 2021, “A DECISION HAS BEEN MADE REGARDING THE NEUROIDENTIGRAF RECOGNITION SYSTEM. Starting from March 16, 2021, the NeuroIDentigraf face recognition system will be put into a state of combat operation and will be available to every citizen of Ukraine 24/7.” Zaitsev says that the date of NeuroIdentigraf’s launch was meant to coincide with the anniversary of the creation of Mirotvorets, which went online on March 16, 2014, following the Maidan coup which signaled the beginning of Kiev’s unrelenting attacks on Russian speakers in Donbass, Roma people and trade unionists.

DMITRI ORLOV—The fact that these people are voluntarily cleansing the Russian media space of their presence is a positive development, but it takes time. If the special military operation were to end tomorrow, there is no doubt that they would attempt to come back and pretend that none of this ever happened. And then Russian popular culture would remain a Western-styled cesspool full of vacuous personae who seek to glorify every single deadly sin for the sake of personal notoriety and gain. Russia has plenty of talented people eager to take their place—if only they would keep out long enough for everyone to forget about them!

PAUL EDWARDS—The fate of humanity in the immediate future will be determined by the undeclared but entirely real war between the American Empire and Russia and China. Both gigantic and exceedingly powerful nations are perceived and treated as enemies, one already engaged in proxy war with America in Ukraine, and the other menaced and provoked by American policy on Taiwan.

JIM KAVANAGH—The US/NATO/Kiev punditocracy and media apparatus is positing for us a situation in which nuclear weapons use has kinda-sorta, you-can-bet-on-it, already been decided upon, by Russia, because it is losing. They hope, if you believe that, you will accept direct, overt, massive US/NATO military intervention. They know American and European publics will not accept such dangerous intervention unless they’re convinced that it’s not about some prior plan to destroy Russia and preserve U.S. hegemony, but about saving the world from the nuclear threat Russia has unleashed (as well as saving the brave Ukrainian regime which would have defeated Russia fair and square if Russia hadn’t cheated with those nukes).
