Terrorists are using strongholds in Colombia and Spain to prepare attacks against Venezuela, and the Spanish government is doing nothing to stop it, President Nicolas Maduro has alleged. “From Colombia, from the Casa de Narino [the official presidential residence] a permanent conspiracy exists to attack Venezuela, to carry out terrorist attacks…These and other attacks are planned from Spain, but the Spanish government plays deaf, mute and crazy”, Maduro said in a speech broadcast by national television. Accusing Madrid of protecting Leopoldo Lopez, a Venezuelan opposition figure and fugitive who is wanted in his home country for criminal association and public incitement to violence, Maduro suggested that “it would be very easy for Spanish intelligence to investigate all the complaints and evidence that the National Assembly has provided [against Lopez]. It would be simple because the technical and investigative capabilities of Spain’s police are very strong, but they don’t want to do this, and protect a terrorist”.

NIKOS MOTTA—Two months before the U.S. strikes against Iraq, on September 1998, Senator Biden was writing in “The Washington Post”: “Ultimately, as long as Saddam Hussein is at the helm, no inspectors can guarantee that they have rooted out the entirety of Saddam Hussein’s weapons program”, adding that “the only way to remove Saddam is a massive military effort, led by the United States” In 2002, Mr Biden publicly adopted the false claims of U.S. President Bush and British Prime Minister Blair concerning the supposed possession of weapons of mass destruction by Saddam Hussein’s regime. As a Senator he voted in favor of the military invasion in Iraq and he kept the same position even after the beginning of the war. Speaking at the Brooklings Institute on July 2003, Biden said: “Nine months ago, I voted to use force and I would vote that way again today.

US Militarists Invent Enemies – and Russiagate — for Dollars
6 minutes readRussiagate is a fiction concocted by Democrats and intelligence agencies to explain Hillary Clinton’s defeat and fuel a New Cold War, said Ray McGovern, a former CIA analyst. “You can’t spend $740 billion a year if you don’t have a plausible enemy, like Russia and now China,” McGovern told Ben Norton and Max Blumenthal, of The Gray Zone. McGovern is active with Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity.

The Destructive Plan Behind the Biden Russia Agenda
19 minutes readF W. ENGDAHL—The US government’s NGO for Color Revolution regime change, the NED, in a piece published on January 25 echoes Nuland’s call for a social media-led destabilization of Putin. Writing about the Moscow arrest of Navalny just three days before the Biden inauguration, the NED states that, “By creating a model of guerrilla political warfare for the digital age, Navalny has exposed the regime’s utter lack of imagination and inability….” They add,“Putin is in a Catch-22: If Putin kills Navalny, it could draw more attention to the problem and exacerbate unrest. If Putin lets Navalny live, then Navalny remains a focus for resistance, whether he is in prison or not… Navalny has very much outmaneuvered Putin at each turn since the poisoning. It’s becoming a bit humiliating for him.”

Prior to the Great Trump Derangement, liberals like John Oliver did occasionally perform valuable journalistic services. Of course, they NEVER advanced an anti-systemic narrative since they are all, without exception, system-owned creatures, but the role of left-liberals, like that of the Democrat party, is to absorb, deflect and neutralise the continually rising tides of would-be leftism and rebellion. In this tricky job, the best practitioners go out of their way to perfect their creds by choosing subjects that seem to put them on the side of the people. Thus, exposés of the status quo’s rottenness builds their credibility for moments when the system, in genuine trouble with the masses, may need defenders who enjoy trust with the people. That’s why the mainstream (“legacy”) media also publish stuff that sounds critical and antagonistic to the reigning oligarchy. On the whole, however, they always manage to explain such crimes and abuses as “aberrations” to an essentially good system, one, by definition (or so says the US “political-religious” canon), superior to any other in the world. God’s chosen system, in fact. (See Larry Romanoff’s If America Dissolves, for an engaging discussion of the American way of total indoctrination.)
