P. GREANVILLE—The Western hypocrisy that permeates these denuncations of Philby as a “traitor”, as some kind of dishonorable monster, fall apart as soon as you realize that “moles” are widely used by ALL intelligence services, and that the West, starting with the US, Britain, France and Israel, actually lead in the planting of infiltrators and agents provocateurs across the globe. On the domestic front, the FBI is famous for infiltrating progressive groups with a view to disrupting them, and in some cases outright eliminating its leaders, as the murder of Fred Hampton and others in the Black Panther Party clearly indicates. All of this was actually documented by the US Senate during the Church Committee hearings on Cointelpro and other dirty ops. Philby, for all his flaws, was fighting a network of sociopathic elites, guilty of Nuremberg-type crimes.

Radicalized Michigan Anarchist Seeks Unity With The Left. Is unity possible between divergent wings of the working class?
7 minutes readA highly unusual and extremely promising dialog initiated by a “far right extremist” as the corporate media likes to paint them hoping t unite working people of all stripes in an alliance between the left and the right, as tis is not so much a struggle between the right and left as it is, in Jimmy’s words, between the top and the bottom, the 90% of the population practically abandoned y the ruling class.

JEFF J. BROWN—Unfortunately, Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou, still under 24/7 guard and house arrest in Vancouver, B.C., now for two years, doesn’t have Perry Mason as her defense attorney, nor does she live in that fictitious “above politics” and “justice is blind” world. Too bad Raymond Burr’s mesmerizing, B.C. screen bravado can’t magically free Ms. Meng from her Sino-Canadian-American geopolitical predicament. Where is Perry Mason’s slam dunk evidence when you need it? Meng can only hope that it does not take 271 trips to the courtroom to finally get there. While nine TV seasons is a stretch, her whole potential U.S. extradition hearing could drag on for several more years, if it gets that far.

Blinken’s diplomatic cart will have a bumpy ride
22 minutes readHaving been a close aide to Obama, Biden and Hillary Clinton at different times through the past decade and more, Blinken’s antipathy toward Putin and Russia will not come as a surprise. But life is real.
If the extraordinary op-ed written by former president Dmitry Medvedev last Saturday is any indication, the Kremlin estimates that Biden will have little stamina left to wage and sustain a Churchillian war with Putin after attending to the deep-rooted malaise in America’s body polity, which is also of a systemic character and can further aggravate the societal fragmentation in that country unless addressed single-mindedly.

RAMIN MAZAHERI—It’s so interesting how Lyndon Baines Johnson was brought down by mass protests which were not equaled until Donald Trump. The difference is that the anti-LBJ protests were completely anti-imperialist and internationalist in nature – against his continuation of Kennedy’s war on the Vietnamese people – whereas the “never-Trump” movement is totally self-absorbed in Americanism and vitally concerned with immediately reasserting American dominance and prestige.
