PAUL EDWARDS—Voting, in our arcane, convoluted process, has been, from the beginning, a contrivance to mollify and divert the hoi polloi with a specious sense of their power of governance while the owners and managers of the State accomplish their private agendas. These include, but are not limited to, exploiting and pauperizing labor; openly burgling the public purse; plundering our natural resources while fouling The People’s lands and waters; fixing tax rates so The People pay for their own impoverishment while huge corporations skate free with big refunds; allocating government expenditure so enormous sums fatten all massive industries, banking, and the War Machine, so that next to nothing is left for public health, education, infrastructure, and the environment; and funding, with The People’s money, the imperial piracy, villainy, and murder that feed the tyranny for which we are widely hated.

Why China is NOT the Enemy of the West (Why British Psychological Warfare Must Now be Examined)
28 minutes readMATTHEW EHRET—Understanding the nature of the current psyops, and new red scare deflection underway, it is necessary to review some seriously underappreciated facts of recent history, and since former secretary of State Sir Henry Kissinger (a genuine Knight of the British Empire), figures prominently in this story, it is wise to start with his relationship with China.
Although he is celebrated for being an “enlightened” liberal politician who helped China open up to the west after the dark days of Mao’s Cultural Revolution by extending western markets to China, the truth is very different.

PATRICK LAWRENCE—If the incoming regime’s inability to see clearly as it looks across the Pacific is especially evident at this moment, it is not enough to conclude that Biden and his people inherit this defect from the Trump regime. We can date America’s blindness to Admiral Dewey’s arrival in Manila Bay in 1898 at the start of the Spanish–American War. Fifty-six years later America took over the war against the Vietnamese after the French were routed at Diên Biên Phu. Blind again.
Beneath the blindness lies indifference — indifference to who Asians are and what their aspirations may be. In the former case, Americans grossly, cruelly betrayed the Filipino independence movement. The betrayal in the latter case requires no explanation.

BRIAN CLOUGHLEY-NATO’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told Politico he considers that growing challenges are being posed by China and that in consequence “To protect Europe, we need the transatlantic bond, we need North America, the U.S. and Canada… we all realize that the global balance of power is changing in a fundamental way. The rise of China is really changing the security environment we face.” He warned that the Chinese government was “investing heavily in new capabilities, including nuclear weapons, missiles, new technologies.”
The absurdity of his warning about nuclear weapons, alone, is enough to destroy his entire argument, which is based solely on finding reasons to try to justify the posture and even expansion of the U.S.-NATO military grouping which, although for the past years has focused on trying to intimidate Russia, is now seeking fresh fields to justify its continuing existence.

The Assassination of Fred Hampton: A Short People’s History
33 minutes readFLINT TAYLOR—Fifty-one years ago this past week, Illinois Black Panther leaders Fred Hampton and Mark Clark were slain by the Chicago police in a murderous pre-dawn raid. Over the next five decades the Hampton and Clark families, their lawyers, the Black Panther Party, movement activists, honest reporters and documentary filmmakers, and peoples’ historians have waged a continuous battle to uncover and speak the truth about Fred Hampton, the BPP, and the December 4th raid. These intergenerational and interracial efforts have led to a changing of the historical narrative from a shoot-out between the Panthers and the police, to a “shoot in” where the police fired more than 90 shots to one by the Panthers, then to a murder of Fred Hampton while he slept, drugged, in his bed, and now, to a political assassination orchestrated by the FBI under its notorious COINTEPRO program.
