KARL SANCHEZ—The most common violation is interference in the internal/domestic affairs of member nations. Most grievous is violation of Article 4. Upon the Charter’s entering into legal force on 24 October 1945, the USA was in the process of interfering in the domestic affairs of the USSR and numerous other member nations. It was also providing aid to known Nazi elements in Soviet Ukraine and aiding known Nazi War Criminals to escape justice for the crimes they committed. As such, the USA was also in violation of Articles 2, 3, 4, and 5. Those violations continued unabated and others were added as time moved forward.

SCOTT RITTER—The discrediting of Putin’s government with an eye to his removal from power has been a goal of the C.I.A. since 2005, when the C.I.A., together with British intelligence, began actively working to create viable political opposition movements inside Russia.
While these efforts have largely failed (the recent death in a Russian prison of Alexei Navalny, believed to have been a creation of the C.I.A., underscores the scope and scale of this failure), the C.I.A.’s covert political warriors in the Political Action Group of the Special Activities Center continue to try to undermine Putin through various means.

THIERRY MEYSSAN—The Biden Administration has therefore invited General Benny Gantz, the former alternative Prime Minister and since October 12 Minister without Portfolio, to consult in the United States, despite the opposition of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It’s a kind of backlash to the way the latter was invited to deliver a speech before Congress against the advice of President Barack Obama, in 2015. The United States is keen to show that it is in charge and no one else.
The United States feels compelled to act. Russia has invited sixty Palestinian political organizations to Moscow. It urged them to unite and convinced Hamas to accept the PLO charter, i.e. to recognize the State of Israel.

EDITOR—Russia and China need to form a coalition of states that are serious about establishing a just multicentric world order. If Israel does not heed calls to stop its illegal acts, this new “alliance for freedom” should send a protection group to Palestine. This formation should ensure that no more Palestinian people are killed by Israelis and that this ethnic group can keep its homeland. Of course, the Palestinian leadership must also commit to act according to internationally recognized legal principles.

LAURENT GUYENOT—The most characteristic trait of the psychopath is a complete absence of empathy and, as a result, of moral inhibition in harming others, combined with a thirst for power. Psychopathy also shares some traits with narcissism: psychopaths have a grand vision of their own importance. In their minds, everything is owed to them because they are exceptional. They are never wrong, and failures are always the fault of others.
Truth is of no value to the psychopath; truth is whatever is convenient for him at any given moment. He is a pathological liar, but he is hardly aware of it. Lying is so natural to him that the question of his “sincerity” is almost irrelevant: the psychopath beats the lie detector.
