ERIC ZUESSE—Unlike other types of companies, which sell exclusively or mainly to the public (consumers, including to other companies), military manufacturers sell only or mainly to their own and to allied Governments; and, therefore, in order to control their own sales-volumes (which is an objective of any for-profit corporation), they need to, essentially, own these Governments by means of corruption, which enables these countries to pretend to be democracies instead of aristocracies (which they actually are — controlled by their billionaires — who also control these companies, and the ‘news’-media there).

13 minutes readEU members countries, from Czechia to France and Germany, are watching their populations explode in anger as a result of sharp rises in the cost of living, the inability to secure stable supplies of energy, and the irrational warmongering and criminal NATO/EU sanctions imposed on Russia. The demonstrators are finally getting fed up with the EU’s corrupt and arrogantly inept leadership, and its own irrational decision to not accept Russian gas. The prospect of an endless war, sold on lies, which could now easily degenerate into a nuclear confrontation, and a harsh winter with no heating fuel, plus inflation and a poor job outlok, are all adding to the pent-up anger that many experience now in the working class all over Europe.

Workers solidarity: Greek Railway Workers Reportedly Refuse to Transport NATO Tanks Toward Ukraine
14 minutes readTrainOSE reportedly threatened workers from the Thessaloniki Electric Locomotive Department, who refused to travel to Alexandropoulos to provide technical servicing of trains involved in transporting NATO military equipment out of the port city, with punitive action, pointing to their obligations under signed contracts.
“We demand that our country’s railway rolling stock not be used to transfer the US and NATO arsenal to neighbouring countries. We condemn employers’ threats against TrainOSE employees who have refused to provide technical maintenance for trains which are currently transporting NATO tanks from the Alexandropoulos port. Employers’ statements to the effect that ‘what do you care what the trains carry, it’s your job and you are obliged to go’ are a joke,” the resolution said.
