JACK PERRY—We spend a lot of money on the VA, which is a socialized medical care system. The irony is conservative veterans sit and blast “socialism” and “socialist health care” while, at the same time, applauding and defending the socialized health care system they have. Basically, they got theirs and to hell with the civilians. They lash out with anger at any proposed VA cut, but lash out with equal anger if a public health care system is proposed for everyone else. They say, “I don’t want to pay for everyone else’s health care!” Yeah? Maybe everyone else is tired of paying for yours. Maybe it’s time to say “Everyone or no one”.

JACK PERRY—The Blue Wave is backwash from a cesspool. It’s a septic tank of bogus “resistance” to policies the Democrats all support regardless of who is in the White House or who is in the majority in Congress. I write this again, the Blue Wave is a Yellow Tide of cowardice. It’s also a Green Tsunami of campaign funds from Israel. The only thing “blue” for poor Americans will be the blues of eviction notices, debt, and poverty.

PIERS ROBINSON—”The Stop the War Coalition seem to have even been doing that as well, demanding that “We shouldn’t intervene.” I was a member and I gave a talk in Sheffield. I think that Stop the War should not talk about “non-intervention” in the way they sometimes do because there is an intervention already underway. I thought there was a problem in the way they are presenting this, because my impression was that they were not really getting to the root of what was going on.”

The war of words continued into 2018, with Haley deriding Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas by declaring his administration “lacks what is needed to achieve peace” in February, the Jerusalem Post reported. Later that month, after a speech before the UN Security Council in which Abbas said the US was “closing the door on a two-state solution” and he called upon UN member states that have not yet recognized Palestine as a state to do so, Abbas notably snubbed the next two speakers, Israel’s UN ambassador, Danny Danon, and Haley, the US ambassador, walking out of the council chamber after his remarks were finished.

ANNE GARRISON—There are few imaginable solutions beyond the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement, which hasn’t managed to rein in Israel’s aggression so far. Is it foolish to imagine that European nations and/or Israel’s other trading partners would impose sanctions? According to the Observatory of Economic Complexity , the top export destinations for Israeli products are the United States ($24B), China ($3.25B), Hong Kong ($2.89B), Palestine ($2.86B) and India ($2.13B). Israel imports the most products from the United States ($8.56B), China ($5.86B), Switzerland ($4.05B), Germany ($3.8B) and Belgium-Luxembourg ($3.44B).
