America, the Pathetic, is governed treasonously by the most despicable, morally sick monster in our Presidential line, a freak who embodies the worst elements of hate and cruelty, a stupid, repulsive imbecile who takes pride in his ethical putrescence.
The country was run for the wealthy and privileged under the pretense of being devoted to its people, from colonial days on. The game was to keep the people pacified and subdued by providing a bare minimum of material security, representing it as all that could be provided by the best efforts of a caring state.
In fact, all the profit extracted and produced from America’s vast resources was siphoned off for a tiny segment of entrenched elite who had grabbed and owned everything under rapist Capitalism, and next to nothing was ever done for the benefit of the people.
This fraud of chicanery and bald-faced expropriation worked by imposing a fantasy catechism of Capitalism on Americans, from the cradle to the grave, and by buying their prostituted Congress.

The emperor of grift, surrounded by hypocritical, empathy-devoid, Christo-fascists defiling the People's House.
The doctrine asserted that wealth belonged to those whose superior qualities acquired it, and that poverty and economic hardship were due to inability, sloth, and vice, but that it could all be overcome by discipline, diligence and hard work.
This line of hogwash was force-fed to simple, naive people kept in economic subjection by an all-powerful collusion of banks, government, and corporations, who accepted that obscene fairy tale and so ensured the permanence of their abject servitude.
As the supercharged economy based on massive government spending on industry in WWII ended, worker prosperity ground to a halt. Giant corporations made by federal largesse clawed back the benefits of labor that had built them. Unions were broken, the people’s needs ignored, and Capitalism hoarded all for itself.
The losses were continuous over decades and the great mass of Americans very slowly realized that they were being relentlessly robbed of economic security by their government’s owners.
By 2015 they had reached a peak of frustration and anger at receiving ever less for their work in the world’s richest nation, and they’d had a belly full of bullshit and lies, as all the money went only to the super-rich, and regular people scrambled to get by.

Trump in one of his overcrowded, stifling WH "cabinet" meetings. Flanked by war criminals Rubio and Hegseth.
They saw this was not a mistake but was planned; the parties were owned by a tiny club of billionaires and acknowledged no obligation to the people. Democrats even dropped the myth of being a working-class party, which had not been true since FDR. Finally, infuriated beyond reason at the racket by which working people were hoodled without being kissed, many chose to take a flyer on a career shyster who talked mean, tough and dirty. They elected what Mencken had predicted: “a downright moron”.
The supreme irony is that the American people were not wrong to be angry. They were right to repudiate a political system that had become a mechanism to rob the public to enrich an arrogant, cynical clique of privileged Capitalist thieves and pirates. Sadly, voting out of rage for a phony, rich ninny pledged to tear a bad system down, does not guarantee a more just replacement.
What Trump did create is an executive branch composed of the most pathetic, ridiculous set of rank, unqualified amateurs, bald-faced careerists, and dingbat zealots in American political history.
The choices Trump made for his posse of cyphers, wanks, and poseurs would be a crushing embarrassment to a man of any pride or quality. The males run from the prissy billionaire vulture, Bessant, to the mouthy, would-be macho man Hegseth, while the females tend toward centerfold types, with both sexes eagerly lauding their grotesque overseer, as cultists must always do.
What matters in high office is depth and gravitas, and none of it is in evidence. The men are shallow, dull and childishly repulsive, and the women selected more for looks than expertise. Being cute and sexy does not a bimbo make, but a real aroma of starlet on the make, roller derby queen, or Hooters bunny, is exuded by Noem—junked—Bondi, Leavitt, and even Gabbard, now toast.
A vacuous bozo in high office, with no taste or discrimination, will create a palace guard that matches his predilections, elevating the tawdry and incompetent to shore up his voracious, weak ego.
It has been generations since our Presidents’ cabinets could face the world as solid collections of what Halberstam called “the best and the brightest”, and though even the finest of them acted as defenders of the evil predations of imperial Capitalism, only rare exceptions were blatant examples of idiocy and disease.
Trump’s gang is a perfect toxic exhibit of pathological defectives, but no wonder. As Forrest Gump said: “Stupid is as stupid does”. The real cost of our failure of political capability under the most evil, unhinged simpleton ever, is that Americans must suffer, in their decline and fall, the stigma and shame of their own making.
