We should not fear the working class on the move, says Dr Monteiro, even if, in the absence of a clear and dependable leadership, it may (momentarily) stray into fascistic deviations. The current system is unsustainable. Its main vehicle, the Democrat Party, to control dissidents, is dead. The Trump phenomenon is unpredictable. No matter what he and his clique do, change of the real kind is coming, albeit not as envisaged by the ruling billionaires and most Americans. The massive, spontaneous positive reaction to Luigi Mangione’s killing of UHC’s CEO, Brian Thompson—an act of “propaganda by the deed”— shows the working class is not likely to return to the barn that easily. And while anarchism may lead nowhere in terms of actually assuring the masses’ ascent to power, it marks a turning point in the possible use of violence for political ends.
The ruling class has only one choice, to ponder carefully JFK’s wise warning, that “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” US imperialism, the finance stage of its decaying capitalism, global neoliberalism, cannot be fixed, cannot be reformed. It must be replaced with a sane and compassionate system capable of insuring world peace and prosperity for all. But for this, peace will be necessary. MLK already told us many times: We cannot build a decent, prosperous society in the US until the permanent war machine, with all its immense waste and destruction, has been eliminated from our political culture. Geopolitical analysts, many understandably concerned with global affairs in a world in crisis, must also turn their eyes toward the US working class. BEFORE YOU LEAVE:

I am awestruck. Such a profound and thoughtful conversation between two of America’s top intellectuals that will strike a chord with the deep frustrations and misery and unspoken despair of working class* Americans of all hues.
*and even super rich Americans who happen to have a moral compass. They are rare but do exist.
Question:
If the Healthcare Denial Parasites are killing ordinary people for the sake of profits, is it wrong for ordinary people to kill the Healthcare Denial Parasites for the sake of reform? (having been denied, denied, denied any nonviolent options for reform?)
