[su_note note_color=”#f1efef” radius=”0″]The sudden downfall of the Assad government, an event that many anti-imperialists are at a loss to understand unless we factor in maximum treachery and gross intelligence ineptitude on the part of Russia, Iran and other members of the Axis of Resistance, has simply stunned the world. Obviously, the deletion of Syria from the Resistance equation represents a huge blow to Hezbollah, Lebanon, Iran, and of course to the Palestinian people who, with the arrival of rabid Zionists on the scene like Trump & Co, see their prospects for peace, victory, or even survival, dramatically diminished. This is indeed a tragic moment for all decent humanity. The clock of progress has been set back once again brutally by the forces that thrive on hypocrisy, ruthless exploitation and wholesale barbarism. History shows, however, that such extreme forms of malignancy are in fact unsustainable, and that in their very unremitting evil lies the seed to their well-deserved destruction. The fighting BRICS, effectively reduced to Russia and Iran, though momentarily on the defensive, will see better days. Both are heroic, gifted nations, and history is unequivocally on their side. Despite the momentary fireworks and champagne in the precincts of the globalist scum, despite the triumphalist noise emanating from the Empire’s massive and repugnant disinformation machine, US-style hegemony is doomed, victim to a multitude of systemic flaws and ineradicable vices, so the last chapter about this bitter stage of history is yet to be written. —PG[/su_note]
It’s astounding that Russian intelligence didn’t see either Kursk, or the far more catastrophic attack in Syria coming. Putin trusted Merkel, he got burned. Then he trusted Erdogan, who already burned him twice. Shot down a Russian plane and sent Azov criminals back to Ukraine. And Putin thought Erdogan didn’t plan to use Idlib to regroup and re-attack.
Now Hezbollah will be seriously weakened, Israel will cut off Lebanon, and then finish the genocide in Palestine, since its allies will be gone. How will Iran support Palestine when it won’t be able to support Hezbollah or Lebanon?
Plus, you will have a hostile to Russia government in Syria, which weakens Russia in the Mediterranean. What is to become of Russia’s bases in Syria? How about putting Nato bases in, instead? Plus, the vicious snake Erdogan is emboldened and will create more and more trouble for Russia in the Black Sea.

BELOW: CNN’s media presstitutes like Christiane Amanpour faithfully repeat the self-serving official Western version of history denigrating Syria’s struggle for sovereignty, and Damascus’ heroic foreign supporters. Every word these people utter is packaged in malicious lies, gross distortions, and enormous fact omissions.
Syrian rebels have swept into the capital, Damascus, bringing an end to the long rule of President Bashar al-Assad. Video footage shows the rebels escorting Prime Minister Mohammad Ghazi al-Jalali purportedly to a hotel to transfer authority. CNN’s Christiane Amanpour analyzes the collapse of the country’s regime.
And Jihadists will be closer to Russia’s southern areas to restart trouble there. So while Russia may get Ukraine under control, at least for now, its southern flank is at serious risk.
This is a serious disaster with multiple dominoes shaky to say the least.
We should not minimize the implications of this lost battle.
