The signs multiply that Americans—at last—may have had enough of this criminal industry.
Premiered Jan 11, 2025 #luigimangione #unitedhealthcare #brianthompson
Jordan Chariton talked with Steve Zeltzer, chair of the United Front Committee for a Labor Party. He discusses Luigi Mangione and his killing of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, and why this single action is going to blow up the predatory healthcare system in America. They also discuss an upcoming protest planned for a JP Morgan event for ‘healthcare’.

I oppose this on moral grounds, legal grounds, and pragmatic grounds. Murdering someone by stalking him and then shooting him in the back is against the law and contrary to any ethics system I know of. On pragmatic grounds 80% of America disapprove of what Mangione did. He has not created an effective mass movement.
He indirectly ignited a national conversation on “hellcare” by killing Thompson. Admittedly an extreme act, but such are the circumstances created by a criminal system that destroys millions of lives, and which is designed to do the opposite of what it claims to do. This not the first nor the last time in which something “unexpected” detonates a broad social movement that changes history. It won’t be easy for the insurance gangsters and their protectors in Congress and media to put the cat back in the bag this time.
It is legal (but immoral) for the rapacious corporatists, for the sake of short term profits. to commit ecocide (environmental vandalism) and indiscriminate mass murder of ordinary people.
Nothing personal, just business.
OTOH it is illegal for ordinary people, for the sake of long term survival, to commit targeted murder of omnicidal corporatists. But is it immoral?
Nothing personal, just self defence.
Who defines what is legal? The corporatists, using their bought and paid for judiciary.
Message from the corporatists: all you dumb sheeple and stupid lemmings need to shut up and die quietly under bridges in leaky tents covered in your own faeces. Any other behaviour amounts to terrorism.
F*ck you, f*ck all of you.
