Will Maduro and his wife find justice in a country, which has killed up to 115 suspect drug smugglers, with no evidence at all, contrary to all commonsense notions of justice? Just for the crime of being in a small boat off Venezuela.

Delcy Rodríguez (Vice President): now holding the presidency according to the constitution.

Diosdado Cabello (Interior Minister): a powerful figure within the ruling United Socialist Party (PSUV) with deep ties to the military.

Vladimir Padrino López (Defense Minister): controls the armed forces and has announced a nationwide military deployment in response to the U.S. operation, ordering a “united front of resistance”. The Americans reportedly launched missiles at his home, a sign that he is a threat to him — and competent.

How did the US succeed?

In the early hours of January 3 drones and missiles were launched against ports, air bases (La Carlota, Maracay), Fort Tiuna, and command nodes; a SEAD/DEAD-type tactic aimed at disabling radars and control centers. Sabotage cannot be ruled out either: the CIA has been very active in the country.

Now the US wants to replace the government with its own people,

One is Edmundo González recognized by the US and other vassal states like Canada as the legitimate President-elect of Venezuela following the 2024 vote take over. He is now regarded as a traitor.

Another is María Corina Machado who wants to sell Venezuela to American corporatocracy. She too is regarded as a traitor working for the Gringos.

The US worked hard to win support for the people. But it has managed to US has managed to unify anti-American sentiment against it regardless of ideologies .

If the US want to control Venezuela it must first occupy Caracas and then a full-scale insurgency of 1.5 million armed and angry people.

Oddly enough. Maduro had been attempting to negotiate with the Americans and was willing to compromise.

The new government couldn’t do that even if it wanted to. Nor does it need to. The Chinese will step in to back them up technologically and economically. .

Then there was a multiple drone strike on a hotel in Khorly in Kherson where families were celebrating New Year’s Eve. At least 24 people,including a 5 year old child and 50 people injured. There may be more children to add to the death toll since the Ukrainians used incendiary bombs and the bodies are burned beyond recognition.

The Ukraine called the attack on Khorly “Russian propaganda”.

Ukraine’s defence forces adhere to international humanitarian law and conduct strikes exclusively against the enemy’s military targets, facilities of the Russian fuel and energy sector and other legitimate targets, with the aim of reducing the military potential of the aggressor state.

The perpetrators of the attack were identified as the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ “Birds of Magyar” unit responsible for a recent drone attack on a family in a car in Tarasivka, which also killed a young child. This unit is commanded a Hungarian-Ukrainian, Robert Brovdi, who likes to publish videos of Russians dying.

Here’s the British Press reporting on a fire

British newspapers are reporting on the fire at the Swiss resort. But most of them haven’t written a word about the tragedy in Khorly! Not a single line! They’re not concerned with the Russians burned alive…

No pictures? No publicity? The media aren’t interested because it conflicts with published “narrative”.

Bondi Beach? 15 people died including a 10 year old child. There was huge outcry and outrage in the West and stories on every front page. But a 5 year old burned alive or a child killed in car don’t deserve mentions.

But then he talked to John Radcliffe —who I wrote about yesterday.

So now Putin is the problem. And all this “attack” stuff is just bluster. The Donald did not mention Khorly of course. Was the Kherson massacre just more “bluster”?

Or maybe Ratcliffe doesn’t want MI6 favorite Zaluzhny in to replace the coke-addled and very manageable Zelensky.

In any case, it seems that my analysis and that of Berletic may be accurate–US policy is carved in stone — take control of Russia, if not by force of arms by deception and subversion…

The gloves are coming off. Russia’s long, slow reinvention of its economy, industry and military has surpassed all major milestones. The country is still weak in certain areas, but it has learned a lot, tested itself in economic and military conflict, so it is more than ready to take on the NATO, Europe, and the US altogether if need be– certainly by the end of 2026, when American miscalculations bear rotten fruit.

Trump speaks with forked tongue. He is a compulsive liar.

Then again every US President has been a liar in recent memory. Trump is just more obvious.
