THE HUSH

There is widespread awareness—non-specific, inarticulate—that America has done everything to betray humanity, and the time to pay its butcher’s bill has come.

There is a kind of hush over America today.  It’s not the hush of silence, of the abatement of sound.  It’s a Hush of Foreboding; a hush that operates inwardly, in the mind, heart, and emotions.

It’s not the hush of the aftermath of commercial Christmas with its orgiastic effort to perform a celebration of something, and it’s not the hush of hangover, from mustering counterfeit elation by alcohol, indulging loopily in the putative beginning of a new year that most of the world doesn’t even recognize.

This is a far greater Hush: tremendous, existential, in which it is somehow generally, widely, intuited that we are in a moment of static apprehension when the world’s fate is being determined.

All around the earth there is action, motion, agitation, but nearly everywhere, it is negative, violent, punishing.  Search for activity in any nation, in any region, that is positive and beneficial for mankind and the natural world, and you find little to rejoice you.

What you do find is dysfunction, disruption, discontent.  Where there isn’t outright brutality and murder, there is malaise, unease, anxiety, and fear, rooted in the living experience of simple people.

Europe is in a state of decay and dissolution in which its people are losing financial and social security, under a set of unelected, or marginally elected, dim, visionless remnants of disintegrated political elites, whom no one truly supports.  In their moil of resentment over non-representation by vapid, sclerotic politicos, they are surging right, toward neo-fascism and breakdown of their ossified political systems, because what’s to believe in?

In hundreds of cases, over decades, the US has made itself the cruel, dedicated adversary of every effort of enslaved humanity to free itself from tyranny and immiseration, and the destroyer of every moral hero with the integrity and courage to stand against it.

England is a Potemkin country, bundling a broke, dull, and duped populace, sown with resented, marginalized, angry refugees, behind a ludicrous facade of flash pomp, tarnished royalty, and silly, medieval costume shivarees, while a giant money moshpit—The City—sustains a rich gaggle of Monty Python, elegant nerds.

In Africa—abused, looted, violated, broken survivor of centuries of vicious, mindless colonialism—after waves of stifled, battered, bloody revolts over decades, some nations are making another run at ousting the failing, slut Euro parasites, and new knots of American Army assassins, with slender odds of succeeding.

Sad, suffering Latin America, run so long by its sick, native pimps as The Empire’s whorehouse, is still choking and strangling under that vicious, peculiarly sleazy “elite”, with the doddering Empire, ever intimidating and hostile, coaching from the pit.  Its greatest hope is the sinking into impotence of its sick Gringo tormentor.

Asia is struggling to come to grips with the fact that, like Europe, its history has convinced it to keep backing the wrong horse.  The Empire’s crushing Japan made Asia submissive for decades, and it seems blind to the overwhelming dominance of modern China, but apart from Australia—a shameless, bootlicking doxy of The Empire—much of Asia may come to its senses soon.

The reality of the world’s fierce struggle, and its all but impossible fight for justice, autonomy, and human rights, is the cause of the Great Hush in The Empire now.  There is widespread awareness—non-specific, inarticulate—that America has done everything to betray humanity, and the time to pay its butcher’s bill has come.

The United States has always been imperial, built on slavery and genocide, long before it began to rape other nations as chattel, but since the end of WWII and the USSR, it congealed brazenly into empire.  Since then, voracious Capitalism—its evil, sanctified piracy—has made it the monstrous, open enemy of all Mankind.

In hundreds of cases, over decades, it has made itself the cruel, dedicated adversary of every effort of enslaved humanity to free itself from tyranny and immiseration, and the destroyer of every moral hero with the integrity and courage to stand against it.

It did so by lying to its own people, and crippling their ability to think, and now, frantic and failing, it censors what they can say.  This lobotomizing has given us a series of contemptible, corrupt Capitalist whores as front men in our deserved, plummeting fall.

We are made to fund a depraved nation of rabid, murderous, Israeli Jews, as they eradicate a victim people whose land they stole, and to back a twisted, Nazi puppet in a war The Empire made to “weaken” a tough nation that could, and may yet, destroy us, if forced to it.  Capping our psychopathic, cretin “leaders” lunacy, is the suicidal nightmare of fighting China.

Americans don’t know this.  They are not allowed to know it.  In the mass they are uninformed to the point of imbecility.  They are like the boxer answering the bell, though beaten semi-conscious, or the fighting bull goaded to seek, again and again, the sword.

They can’t understand that by enduring their Capitalist owners’ stupid, glaring failures, pursuing a hegemony gone forever, they impoverish themselves, ensure their misery, and risk annihilation.

They don’t know it, but they sense it now.  That’s why, in this brief prelude to the Trump ascent, The Hush has descended.  It has come from the top down, from the concealed, unnamed Executive Clique, the Power Elite, that has always dictated the fatal vector of voracious Capitalism, the dirty heart and dark soul of America.  Because, for the first time ever, it has lost control.

The informal group of the richest, most powerful, elements in the Capitalist hierarchy, which have run the Security and Political States, and dictated the policies of The Empire have, with their disastrous failures, lost to a faction of hugely wealthy mavericks who defeated them with Trump.  He is a wild card, obstreperous outsider who despises them.  What he portends is not known.

The hush you feel around you now, is their Hush of Foreboding.
