PAUL EDWARDS—When a state acts in a way that is evil and dangerous to others, natural, spontaneous approval is not likely from a subject people.  Their view and interpretation of it has to be altered, and approval elicited by any means necessary, commonly by deceit and denial.

America is, and has been since its founding, a fierce, aggressive Capitalist state that evolved into the most powerful economic empire in history.  Because the sole purpose of Capitalism is to generate profit, it functions free of ethical concerns and is entirely indifferent to its dire effects on the natural world and people.

PAUL EDWARDS—As the supercharged economy based on massive government spending on industry in WWII ended, worker prosperity ground to a halt.  Giant corporations made by federal largesse clawed back the benefits of labor that had built them.  Unions were broken, the people’s needs ignored, and Capitalism hoarded all for itself.

The losses were continuous over decades and the great mass of Americans very slowly realized that they were being relentlessly robbed of economic security by their government’s owners.

By 2015 they had reached a peak of frustration and anger at receiving ever less for their work in the world’s richest nation, and they’d had a belly full of bullshit and lies, as all the money went only to the super-rich, and regular people scrambled to get by.

PAUL EDWARDS—For decades, long before the term “regime change” became the openly declared aspiration of militarist, Capitalist America, the facts of the incipient empire’s ugly manipulation and clandestine subversion and betrayal of the hopes and aspirations of great numbers of young and struggling nations were known.

Much diligent effort and money was invested in masking its dirty chicanery and brutality but the world was not fooled.  They said, if it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck, it’s a duck.

The story of Mankind since WWII must be told as the ferocious, revolutionary battle of the colonized world to free itself from the political and economic slavery imposed by the vicious, larcenous Capitalist Elite.  In all that fight, in all cases, America, The Empire, funded and supported all efforts to thwart and block it.  In simple words, America has always been on the wrong side of history.

PAUL EDWARDS—Unlike the catastrophic invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq that ended in defeat and expulsion, for which the torpid American people were heavily propagandized to enrage and inflame them, Trump has put little personal effort into selling this embryonic disaster.  Not surprising, since what the American people want means nothing to him and his stupid, warmonger sycophants.

The captive Supreme Court—dominated by openly right wing zealots—struck down his idiot tariff regime but, blasting that majority, he vowed to continue with it, regardless of their ruling.

PAUL EDWARDS—Prejudice against Jews has a long history rooted in Christian myth.  This ancient antipathy has been much eroded by wide awareness of the genocide of Jews during the Nazi Holocaust.

In reaction and response to guilt from having ignored it when it happened, the idea of a “Jewish Homeland” gained currency in the West, and enabled the creation of Israel.  It was done with total indifference to Arabs in residence for centuries in Palestine.

When the British bailed out and Israel was declared a state, a wave of massacres began by Zionist Jews who passionately held that the land was theirs, god given.  Jewish militias slaughtered and expelled hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, and locked a brutal, permanent military rule over those who survived.  The Nakba—Catastrophe—was in 1947.  Eighty years of this horror has culminated in the genocide and destruction of Gaza.
