TEODROSE FIKRE—There is one Tweet in particular that stood out that has been grating me ever since I saw it this morning. Alyssa Milano conflated two narratives into one as she hinted that the Green Party vote tally was a result of Russian hacking. This is the knee jerk playbook of Democrat sheepdogs and demagogues alike, if anyone dares to think for themselves or refuses to submit to the rank paternalism of the Democrat party, then they must either be Russian trolls or somehow under the influence of Vladimir Putin.

The notorious warmomgering ATLANTIC COUNCIL is now in charge to detecting “prpaganda” and “fake news”, and “foreign influence” on Facebook. The Atlantic Council has frequently called for things like increased military engagement in Syria, militarily confronting the “Russian threat” in Eastern Europe, and now is advocating for Ukraine and Georgia to be allowed entry into NATO while calling for general territorial expansion of the Western military alliance. Further it has advocated on behalf of one of its previous funders, Turkish dictator Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and gave a “Distinguished International Leadership” award to George W. Bush, to name but a few actions of the think tank that has been given authorization to flag citizens’ Facebook pages for possible foreign influence and propaganda.
MOA—After the short war Russia diligently analyzed its losses and failures. The war gave impetus to the development of new weapons and tactics. Russian airplanes were equipped with new electronics. Better communication and coordination within the ground troops was emphasized. The high operational capabilities the Russian military demonstrates in Syria would not exist to their extent had that little war not happened.
PATRICK MARTIN—This year, Sanders has been campaigning with a sidekick, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America who won the Democratic congressional nomination in the 12th District of New York, defeating incumbent Representative Joseph Crowley, the fourth-ranking member of the Democratic leadership in the House.
Ocasio-Cortez campaigned for El-Sayed in Michigan and also for several congressional candidates, including Brent Welder in Kansas and Cori Bush in Missouri, who also went down to defeat on August 7. Like Sanders, Ocasio-Cortez claims that the Democratic Party can be transformed into a genuinely progressive “party of the people” that will implement social reforms.
