According to him, more than two million Palestinians should leave ‘to somewhere nice and safe’ like Jordan or Egypt—while he builds a Riviera on the Mediterranean in Gaza. This idea has angered the inter-national community, and the Arab world has downright rejected it. A meeting of Gulf nations in Riyadh, joined by Egypt and Jordan… ended with no concrete counter-proposals. They will be meeting in Cairo in the coming weeks now. But will they be able to make him change his mind?

El-Kurd tells what everyone basically knows (outside the benighted US). His honesty and insight from within are remarkable. I propose that one can find the same honesty and insight in many Palestinians. The aggression of US squatters on Arab land in the West Bank is well known, but then they assume that the world is their own. And they use the Holocaust as an eternal excuse for their defense. The Arab lands fear to antagonize the US empire as they saw the fates of Iraq and Libya. The ‘New World’ seems to be the root of all evil.
