A Man Can Dream? The BobCat speaks
JULIAN MACFARLANE • JUN 03, 2025
Bob the Bob Cat
They look pretty fierce but are not particularly aggressive. No, you can’t keep them as pets: they are highly individualistic.
I am VERY fond of bobcats and lynxes.
My friend “Bob”, the itinerant genius and coffee-buyer has another of his polemics, which he wrote to me as an email.
I asked him for permission to post it because I thought it had impact and might stir some discussion.
Now, with the US on the cusp of almost everything, it seems like a good time to air Bob’s perspective.
I have added a few graphics and titles (mostly clumsy, sorry). Nothing else.
The US: the source of all conflict?
After WWII, the US ruled the world, literally. They had some trouble with the USSR and the satellites they controlled in Eastern Europe, but this barely interfered with the US everywhere else. And through the Cold War they successfully kept the Soviet states in [relative] poverty. and authoritarian/totalitarian systems. All of Eastern Europe and Asia were punished severely for thinking that they had a right to self-determination.
Where the US could do it — Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos — they did everything possible to destroy whatever they could not control. Whole nations were laid waste and tens of millions died miserable deaths, almost all civilians. The US used everything short of nukes (and considered nukes over and over again): biological weapons, chemical weapons, psychological warfare, economic warfare, starvation, terrorism. There were no limits. The famous My Lai massacre was a success — no one believes that it was actually business as usual.
As much as 20% of the “North Koreans” were killed and the country reduced to the Stone Age, and Korea itself has remained divided and at war with itself ever since. Vietnam was embargoed for decades after they were mostly destroyed, preventing them from recovering. Cambodia and Laos had nothing to do with it, but they were mercilessly bombed and Cambodia suffered the horrific “killing fields” largely due to US interference.
American Exploitation and Genocides
National security states and death squads all over Latin America and Africa, trained by the Green Beret. That’s what they do. Incredible theft from Africa in particular — the wealthiest continent on Earth reduced to the poorest. Tens or hundreds of millions dead — as bad or worse than previous empires but somehow with many believing that the Africans had “overcome” colonization. If only.
A Democratic president led the murder of half a million Iraqi children (and how many adults?) while destroying Rwanda and committing genocide against the HUTUS, not the Tutsis — a genocide that has continued in the Congo for nearly thirty years, with six to nine million dead and no one mentions it. And then, after making a mess in Somalia, he turned to Europe and led the war against Yugoslavia, using a fake genocide to cover up a real one. It doesn’t get any dirtier than this, and this was a “liberal” president. (He was awful for Americans, too — destroying the social safety net (welfare and food stamps) and creating the carceral society that has created the largest prison population per capita in the world — the US as prison state.)
The Hollow Nation
Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, all through the Caribbean (especially Cuba) — movements for workers rights and environmental protection and prevention of capital flight were all brutally crushed. And throughout this Americans were worked harder and harder for less and less, substituting easy credit. Now the US is a nation of debtors. Debtors prisons will return soon. There is no recovery from this.
The US is the Hollow Nation. The parasites don’t care. They have their walled estates and private islands and Swiss bank accounts.
And more: Libya (now a slave state), Syria (genocide in progress), Palestine (200-400,000 dead, Gaza destroyed, the West Bank next), Ukraine (1.5 million dead estimated) and on and on.
After WWII, the US rebuilt Japan and Germany, but as puppet states. The US never left. They used Operation Gladio and “stay-behind troops" to destroy nationalist and socialist/communist movements all over Europe, warring on their erstwhile allies. Operation Paperclip brought thousands of Nazi butchers to long lives in safety and comfort and prosperity in the US and Canada.
Subversion
So who put Pakistani terrorists up to the attack on India? The US, of course. The ISI is behind that and the ISI is controlled by the CIA.
Who overthrew governments in Ukraine, Georgia, Brazil, and elsewhere in color revolutions? The US. Who pays their “leaders” and owns them? The US.
Proxy Violence
Ukraine is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the US and has been since 2014. The CIA and the State Department run everything, and the US pays for everything. They’d collapse in days without continual US support. So when Trump pretends that he’s withdrawing support … well, if Ukraine doesn’t collapse, then he didn’t.
Japan and Germany and Britain (owned since WWI, really) and Korea (“South”) and many, many more (some come and go, like Argentina and Colombia) are all US proxies. Their “leaders” do as they are told. If they appear to be “standing up” to the US or Trump, it’s because their US oligarchs told them to — political theater. It’s all a big game for them.
Hope?
From this you can see the problem: the entire media and virtually all of the “alt” media are fools, at least in the West. Even some in Russia and China and Iran have fallen for this shit.
It does not bode well, but a man can dream.
On a lighter note….
As I said, bobcats can never be pets — but this video says a lot about the power of love, even among creatures that are fundamentally different. Even among different species like…ummm… men and women ? LOL
OK….I am weird. Please support weirdness, support me and Chappy and Ichi — we are different species, so we need help. Click here to buy coffee.
