Cowardly NYC cop shoots harmless puppy dog dead—you be the judge

These demonstrators are never interviewed in depth, just passing, almost incomprehensible snippets.

It’s quite clear that the police in the US are out of control, and this is far from accidental. The problem is old and systemic. The police have become a de facto occupation force in many black and Latino neighborhoods throughout America.  Heavily documented (including thoroughly videotaped) cases of police abuse and disproportionate use of force—a symptom with many mothers—including numerous  wanton killings, have gone unpunished by prosecutors and Grand Juries, while trials also routinely end in acquittals or dismissals. A cop badge has become a license to kill—not only criminals and in self defense,  where some explanation or excuse might be found, but in many situations where the victims are unarmed and obviously harmless civilians. Caprice rules. Much too often, minor infractions can result in a one-way trip to the morgue. 

As usual, why is this so, and who really benefits?
