One of the greatest debates on Iraq in recent memory, Hitchens vs Galloway (2005). Note that by Hitchens’ own “first rule of loss of sovereignty” —a country that invades others illegally and arbitrarily—(he’s arguing this to demonstrate that invading Iraq was no crime), the US should have long ago lost its own sovereignty. He can’t have it both ways, but he seems not to notice. —PG
