The following report was presented by 60 Minutes (aired as a repeat on Sun. 6.7.15). We sure wish they did more exposés of this sort, but we are not surprised they don’t. Still, this report is pretty eloquent, and the chief correspondent seems more involved in demanding justice and pushing the predictably squirming officials than most “professional journalists”, a lot that misguidedly admires remaining placid and detached, even deferential, while confronting the most despicable crooks and political criminals. However, it should be noted that no allusion to the systemic aspect of this ripoff is made. So “capitalism” per se is never mentioned. The real culprit is therefore spared.
