The Corporate Assault on Public Education. The Capitalist Hydra Never Rests.
One more example how the billions of dollars amassed by the plutocrats go to strengthen their hold on society.

In the space of less than 20 years, the public school privatization movement has emerged from the narrow, right wing fringes to dominate both major political parties. From vouchers to school choice to charter schools, the issue has divided even Black Americans, who were once public education’s most fervent supporters. Glen Ford explains how this came about by wealthy individuals buying black politicians and promoting their careers, particularly Corey Booker.

I listened to the 1 hour 15 minute speech on US politics leading up to the Charter school question about which I have been asking for information for over a year. His talk is a real insider’s dissection of how American politics work. He is a master at laying the foundation piece by piece and then putting all the pieces together in the end. He would be a terrific novelist. Glen is aAn exciting speaker who held me prisoner for that time. Listen and learn!
