AFTER YEARS OF CHEERLEADING AND COVERING UP FOR THE BARBARIC ISIS SIDE—
“Mainstream media are just now breaking stories detailing how weapons sent to Syria by the CIA fuelled the rapid growth of ISIS.

FILE – In this Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 file photo, Free Syrian Army fighters clean their weapons and check ammunition at their base on the outskirts of Aleppo, Syria. Barack Obama said early on in the 2 1/2-year-old conflict that [Pres.] Assad lost the right to lead because of the brutal oppression of his people, most chillingly displayed in what Washington contends was an Aug. 21 chemical weapons attack on rebel-held areas that killed hundreds of civilians. [Actually a US-sanctioned false flag.]

Thus General Flynn in the summer of 2015, speaking as a recently retired military intelligence officer, warned in no uncertain terms that US-supplied weapons in Syria were going to ISIS, al-Qaeda, and other jihadists. This was so well known at the time that it could be openly stated by a retired high ranking official on a major international program. Flynn also said something similar to both Seymour Hersh and the New York Times in 2015.

The Best Definition of Donald Trump We Have Found
In his zeal to prove to his antagonists in the War Party that he is as bloodthirsty as their champion, Hillary Clinton, and more manly than Barack Obama, Trump seems to have gone “play-crazy” — acting like an unpredictable maniac in order to terrorize the Russians into forcing some kind of dramatic concessions from their Syrian allies, or risk Armageddon. However, the “play-crazy” gambit can only work when the leader is, in real life, a disciplined and intelligent actor, who knows precisely what actual boundaries must not be crossed. That ain’t Donald Trump — a pitifully shallow and ill-disciplined man, emotionally handicapped by obscene privilege and cognitively crippled by white American chauvinism. By pushing Trump into a corner and demanding that he display his most bellicose self, or be ceaselessly mocked as a “puppet” and minion of Russia, a lesser power, the War Party and its media and clandestine services have created a perfect storm of mayhem that may consume us all.— Glen Ford, Editor in Chief, Black Agenda Report

I find your formatting of both your articles and that of others very confusing. You seem to go to extreme lengths of be creative in your formatting of articles, so extreme that they add confusion as to what the article is all about. People who scan many articles such as I do, are left to figuring out what the author is actually writing about, and if he offers sufficient evidence and reasons to back up his arguments.
Then there are errors such as the above one that reproduced an article written by Tyler Durden and posted on his website ZeroHedge. In his original article to support the claim that the US was supporting ISIS and other terrorist groups, he posted a very revealing video interview with Michael Flynn produced by Al Jazeera. You, for some unexplained reason, inserted a video with Sec. of Defense James Mattis who spoke about US retaliation for Assad’s “regime” for using chemical weapons! WTF!
Dear Ron:
Thank you for pointing that out. The link to the Al Jazeera video with Flynn kept breaking up, so it did show in some computers and not in others for reasons we are unable to determine. Now it appears t be fixed.
Further, we agree some readers may find our formats complicated and even confusing, and we are doing something about that, probably a complete overhaul in the near future.
Regarding the actual topical confusion, there we can’t agree with you. Well informed people who do not swallow the imperial/corporate media line have been well aware of American designs to topple Assad for many years, as revealed, among others, by Wesley Clark, no less. Obama started the underhanded overthrow of Syria a bit before 2011 or thereabouts, and the rest is brutal recent history, as anyone half awake would know. The US under Trump continues to this day to support ISIS and other anti-Assad militants, using them as convenient proxy forces to do the dirty imperial bidding in that region and elsewhere, while Washington poses as an enemy of “terror” committed to the destruction of jihadist fanatics. The US de facto (but denied) support for ISIS was also confirmed by the effectiveness of Russia’s bombing campaign, using an air group many times smaller than the bloated US presence in that region.
