The Best Definition of Donald Trump We Have Found
In his zeal to prove to his antagonists in the War Party that he is as bloodthirsty as their champion, Hillary Clinton, and more manly than Barack Obama, Trump seems to have gone “play-crazy” -- acting like an unpredictable maniac in order to terrorize the Russians into forcing some kind of dramatic concessions from their Syrian allies, or risk Armageddon. However, the “play-crazy” gambit can only work when the leader is, in real life, a disciplined and intelligent actor, who knows precisely what actual boundaries must not be crossed. That ain’t Donald Trump -- a pitifully shallow and ill-disciplined man, emotionally handicapped by obscene privilege and cognitively crippled by white American chauvinism. By pushing Trump into a corner and demanding that he display his most bellicose self, or be ceaselessly mocked as a “puppet” and minion of Russia, a lesser power, the War Party and its media and clandestine services have created a perfect storm of mayhem that may consume us all.— Glen Ford, Editor in Chief, Black Agenda Report

Fascism is Capitalisms “fall-back” position. “Democracy” as such, was always a fig leaf. The Western “democracies” will magically morph into the Western “fascist States” if it means preserving the fetid malignant corpse of Capitalism for even one more day of rape, plunder and pillage.
… About the high-speed rail line in
Piedmont. I was born at the beginning of that valley (Valle di Susa),
and the last thing that valley needs is another rail line. It already
has one rail-line and one road tunnel. The same applies to the
Savoy valley on the (now) French side. Once Savoy and Piedmont were part
of the same Kingdom of Savoy. The majority of the people living on
either side of the Alps do NOT want it.
Apart from
ecological considerations, a TGV does not run on solar panels and free energy. Paris is
already served by frequent and daily air connections – ordinary and low
cost.
The project is a boondoggle born to make some
people rich. The so called contemporary ‘left’ is a fraud – powerful
enough, however, to bamboozle the customary unthinking masses, eager to
believe whatever makes them feel good without thinking. Those who feed
the trend are the same who applaud the third world invasion of Europe.
Without stopping to think that one more “human resource” of a migrant is
one less “human resource” for the country where he/she comes from. But
we know who owns and control the media… unfortunately worldwide.
