The Convo Couch
[su_dropcap]F[/su_dropcap]iorella Isabel is eloquent and as usual passionate and super lucid in her dissection of the fraud represented by the duopoly and the choice of neoliberal imperialist Kamala Harris for Biden’s VP, her enthronement a heartbeat from the presidency proof of the appalling corruption and hypocrisy permeating the Democratic party and their hanger-ons across the media and other key institutions.
The Democrats’ choice may actually wake up many progressives to the fact that we have no time for incrementalism, which is exactly what Democrats and Republicans represent, and move them to do something outside and beyond the damned duopoly. I’m glad that Fiorella also flogs the repugnantly hypocritical Bernie Sanders, who is trying hard to sell us Harris, calling her a tribune of the people and a load of other simply ridiculous things. Most importantly, Fiorella reminds everyone that the real political action is not in elections (rigged) but in the streets: for peace, for Medicare for All, for an economy at the service of the people and not a criminal, bloated and puny oligarchy controlling our lives. We need to be proactive and not reactive. Time for action is yesterday. Elections solve nothing under the present system.
