Krystal and Saagar: CNN FREAKS That YouTubers Have Larger Audiences, Calls For Deplatforming
Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti react to new calls for social media censorship.
The hosts of The Hill's webshow Rising speak out against the tightening noose of censorship against voices critical of the status quo
The convergence of naked self-interest prevalent in mainstream media and their liberal (and usually clueless) audiences' comfortable view of corporate fascism are accelerating their drive to censor not just dissenters from the official narrative, but all "upstart" competitors (such as popular YouTubers) capable of competing with them in audience reach. This cynical process is liable to be turbocharged under Biden and the Democrats. The "storming of the Capitol", being hysterically dexcribed as a "coup" and an "insurrection" (see addendum below) is being used as the pretext for the impostion of this new draconian order. Welcome to Orwell 2.0.

Addendum
The New Yorker has some of the best footage of the Jan. 6 events.
While we think the images speak for themselves, we do NOT endorse the liberal/Democrat/authoritarian interpretation, and do not regard the people who broke into the Capitol as "terrorists" or even, technically, "insurrectionists". If these folks are terrorists, they are the most inept terrorists ever seen in recent memory. Rioters, yes. Bumbling fools, and recalcitrant marks of a con artist, perhaps. But "domestic terrorists"? Hardly. Doing nothing about the profound social crisis that created these people; problems which, by the way, afflict in one way or another every American not in the super-privileged top 10%; calling them "thugs" and "deplorables", and other epithets favored by the comfortable idpol upper middle class, will only deepen and broaden the cleavage between red and blue America, making real horrific acts of terrorism inevitable.
Bonus
A tweet, by a member of the "official progressive squad" in the Democrat party, who does not seem to understand what is really going on here or within her own party.
Unf**king believable. https://t.co/yZYpytCYEI
